Join St. Marys Riverkeeper and Keep Nassau Beautiful for the 26th annual St. Marys River Cleanup event April 27, 2024 from 9:00a-11:00a. Volunteers will serve their St. Marys River in a positive and direct way by removing unwanted litter from our waterways and tributaries. Let’s do our part this Earth Month to ensure a healthy St. Marys River for all who depend on it!
This watershed wide event engages all four counties to clean up their community. Pick a County and then pick a site. Afterwards, join us at White Oak Conservation for a Cleanup Celebration!
Please note: each site has a capacity of how many Volunteers are needed. If a site has reached capacity, please register for the next closest available site. Sites may be added as needed. You must participate in the cleanup to gain entry to White Oak Conservation.
The St. Marys River is 130 miles long and winds through four counties in two states. More than 160,000 residents depend on the health of the river for tourism, recreation, commercial fishing, and safe drinking water. Wildlife and plant ecosystems rely on the continued cleanliness of the watershed. |
