There are so many stories making up the mosaic of national/international news that we can’t cover them all every week. The biggest stories now seem to be: election, Trump lawfare, immigration, wars, massive orchestrated ‘Palestine’ protests/riots, weaponization of government, our nation going bankrupt, massive inflation, phony climate change controversy and related expenses of government/industry attempting to address these issues, and the Chinese threat. So here are just a few:

Ukraine’s Surprise Invasion Of Russia Leaves Putin With Stunned-Mullet Look
The Ukrainian Army launched an attack into Russia’s Kursk Oblast during the early hours of Tuesday. The attacking force seems to consist of about two brigades of tanks and infantry fighting vehicles, totaling about 1500 to 2000 troops. The attack swiftly overran Russian positions, seized over 200 square miles of Russian territory, seized the gas pumping station that controls all Russian gas flows to Europe, and appears to have controlled the main Russian railway supply route for Russian forces in Ukraine.
U.S., Ukrainian and Russian officials all acknowledged the ongoing attack, which stunned Moscow and appeared to involve the use of armored fighting vehicles donated to Kyiv by the United States and its European partners — a development that drew no immediate objection from the Biden administration despite its past restrictions on such use of American weaponry.
The surprise assault on Kursk, about 330 miles south of Moscow, seemed designed to bring the war home to Russia, where many do not feel any direct impact of a conflict that has destroyed many Ukrainian cities and towns and displaced millions. It also may be intended to divert Russian troops from other locations along the front, where Ukraine’s military has steadily lost ground in recent months. Analysts suggested Kyiv could be trying to gain leverage for any future negotiations with the Kremlin.

California Governor Gavin Newsom ‘Cleans Up’ Homeless Encampments
California Governor Gavin Newsom filmed himself supposedly “cleaning up” homeless encampments at two sites in LA County, including one under the 5 Freeway in Mission Hills alongside Caltrans crews.
Newsom signed an executive order on July 25 after a recent Supreme Court ruling gave local governments the authority to eliminate homeless encampments and penalize people for camping in public. This comes despite Newsom’s administration spending $24 billion to “solve” the problem. Much of the blame can be laid at the feet of the California Interagency Council on Homelessness (Cal ICH) and Newsom’s own negligence. A state audit in April found Cal ICH, which is staffed with Newsom appointees, failed to provide “accurate, complete, and comparable financial and outcome information from homelessness programs.” Newsom refused to demand accountability and instead announced Cal ICH would administer another $200 million in funds to tackle homelessness.

Incredible New Data Shows How Republicans Now Far Outnumber Democrats In Florida That Was Once Purple
- Florida voted for Democrat Barack Obama twice in 2008 and 2012.
- Since then, the Republican Party has taken over every branch of government.
- The former president and one of his top 2024 challengers hail from the state.
Stunning new figures show how Florida has gone from being a ‘purple’ state with a roughly-even split between Republicans and Democrats to a deep red GOP enclave.
Florida was once considered the ultimate toss-up state, with Barack Obama winning it twice and the state having Democrat governors and members of the US Senate. But it has become a GOP stronghold since Republican Governor Ron DeSantis won his gubernatorial election in 2022.
Donald Trump’s decision to move there from NYC at the end of his presidency in 2021 further bolstered its reputation as a Republican hotspot, as did a wave of migrants from blue states – many fleeing policies they deemed too progressive.
In Florida, there are now 5.3 million residents registered to vote as Republicans versus 4.3 million Democrats, with the official margin around 995,000. It’s a complete turnaround from the GOP, as in the year before DeSantis was elected, 2017, Democrats outnumbered Republicans by a count of 4.8 million to 4.5 million.
There are approximately 3.5 million unaffiliated voters in the state to go along with 373,000 registered with lesser parties. The number of residents registered with no party affiliation is down from 2022, when there were about four million.
Americans battling the crippling cost of living crisis are fleeing to more affordable states like Florida where there are favorable tax rates.

Paris Closes Olympics And Los Angeles Turns To Tom Cruise
Setting out to prove that topping Paris isn’t mission impossible, Los Angeles rolled out a skydiving Tom Cruise, Grammy winner Billie Eilish and other stars on Sunday as it took over Olympic hosting duties from the French capital, which closed out its 2024 Games. Capping two and a half extraordinary weeks of Olympic sports and emotion, Paris’ boisterous, star-studded closing ceremony in France’s national stadium mixed unbridled celebration with a somber call for peace from International Olympic Committee President Thomas Bach. At what will be his last Games after announcing his intention to step down next year, Bach also made a somber appeal for ”a culture of peace” in a war-torn world.
Following in Paris’ footsteps in 2028 promises to be a challenge: It made spectacular use of its cityscape for its first Games in 100 years, with the Eiffel Tower and other iconic monuments becoming Olympic stars in their own right as they served as backdrops and venues for medal-winning feats. But the City of Angels, like the City of Light, showed that it, too, holds some aces.
Cruise — in his Ethan Hunt persona — wowed by descending from the top of the stadium to electric guitar “Mission Impossible” riffs. Once his feet were back on the ground — and after shaking hands with enthralled athletes — he took the Olympic flag from star gymnast Simone Biles, fixed it to the back of a motorcycle and roared out of the arena. Cruise then provided a change of gear. After being lowered on a rope live from the roof’s giddy heights, Cruise drove his bike past the Eiffel Tower in a prerecorded segment, onto a plane and then skydived over the Hollywood Hills. Three circles added to the O’s of the famed Hollywood sign, creating five interlaced Olympic rings.
On the stadium’s giant screens, Eilish, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, rapper Snoop Dogg — wearing pants with the Olympic rings after being a popular feature of the Paris Games — and Dr. Dre kept the party going in an prerecorded show from a California beach. Each is a California native, including H.E.R., who sang the U.S. national anthem live at the Stade de France, crammed with more than 70,000 people. The Summer Games were over. Their next stop: LA in 2028.

Trump To Sue Joe Biden’s DOJ Over Unprecedented Mar-a-Lago Raid For $100 Million
President Trump announced on Monday that his legal team will sue the Biden Department of Justice for $100 million over the unprecedented raid on his home in 2022. Last month, Judge Aileen Cannon dismissed the high-profile classified documents case, citing the unlawful appointment of Special Counsel Jack Smith.
This decision comes as a significant blow to the Biden regime and the Department of Justice, raising questions about the integrity of the entire investigation. President Trump contends that Attorney General Garland violated the Constitution by appointing Jack Smith to conduct this politically motivated persecution against (him).

‘Dream Come True’: Figure Skater With Down Syndrome Wins Gold Medal At Special Olympics
A young woman with Down syndrome is inspiring people to do what they love and work hard to achieve their dreams. Twenty-eight-year-old Annie Murray is a beloved food court team member at the Cleveland Clinic’s Crile Emporium in Ohio, where she puts her heart and soul into her cleaning job, WKYC reported Friday.
She has been called one of the most reliable and hardworking team members and has the special ability to light up a room. She is not only dedicated to her job but works tirelessly to hone her skills as a figure skater. She told the outlet, “I feel proud of myself.”
Murray is a member of the Trinity Special Olympics program at Winterhurst in Lakewood and recently competed in Iceland, where she won the gold medal.
When speaking of being on the ice and winning the medal, she said, “It’s like [a] dream come true.” In a social media post on Friday, the Cleveland Clinic praised the young athlete for her accomplishment, stating, “We’re proud to have her on our food service team!”
Coaches Marjorie Thomas and April Gabrylski said Murray has fun on the ice and always works hard. Thomas said, “I’ve been skating with Annie since she was about five. That girl is the bravest girl. She will try anything.”
According to the Special Olympics website, its mission is to provide sports training and athletic competitions all year long for children and adults with intellectual disabilities. “The Special Olympics mission remains as vital today as it did when the movement was founded in 1968. Special Olympics strives to create a better world by fostering the acceptance and inclusion of all people,” the site continued.
Down syndrome is a genetic disorder, and those born with it have different levels of severity. However, those people are also capable of living fulfilling lives, per the Mayo Clinic.

Former Mesa, CO Clerk Tina Peters Found Guilty On 7 Of 10 Charges (Part I-IV)
Former Mesa, CO Clerk Tina Peters Found Guilty On 7 Of 10 Charges (Part I-IV)
Former Mesa County Clerk and gold star mom Tina Peters was found guilty on seven of ten charges for preserving critical election data.
Tina Peters is the Election Clerk from Mesa County, Colorado. She made a copy of her machines’ information before performing the action requested by Jena Griswald (Colorado Secretary of State), who demanded that all voting machines’ election data should be erased (which is against the law) after the 2020 election.
Colorado Sun reported: A jury has found Tina Peters guilty of seven of 10 counts related to a 2021 breach of the Mesa County election system. Twenty-first Judicial District Judge Matthew Barrett read the verdicts at 5:15 p.m. Monday, after the jury had deliberated for roughly four hours. At least four Mesa County sheriff’s deputies were inside the courtroom to maintain order and another four were in the hallway.
She faces up to six years in prison on each of her top three felony convictions and up to 18 months for conspiracy to commit criminal impersonation. Each of her three misdemeanor convictions carries up to 6 months in jail.
Peters, who had no visible reaction to the sentence, was not taken into custody after the verdicts were read. Instead, the judge directed her to report to the county probation office by noon Tuesday.

Republican Freedom Fighters And Democrat Slavery
When the Civil War ended, and after Republican President Abraham Lincoln, liberated the slaves, Democrats initiatied Crow laws to punish blacks. Democrats in hoods slaughtered hundreds of Republicans and blacks across the country. They beat and threatened and murdered Republicans for standing up for the black man.
On April 20, 1871 the Republicans passed the anti-Ku Klux Klan Act outlawing Democratic terrorist groups. The last KKK official to serve in Washington DC was former Senator Robert Byrd, a KKK kleagle. Byrd was a top Democrat and friend of Joe Biden. In fact, throughout the Civil Rights era of the 19th and 20th century Democrats fought against freedom and rights for the black man.
Here is a brief history of the end of slavery and emancipation in the United States.

- September 22, 1862: Republican President Abraham Lincoln issues preliminary Emancipation Proclamation.
- January 1, 1863: Emancipation Proclamation, implementing the Republicans’ Confiscation Act of 1862, takes effect. The Democratic Party continues to Support Slavery.
- February 9, 1864: Susan B. Anthony and Elizabeth Cady Stanton deliver over 100,000 signatures to U.S. Senate supporting Republicans’ plans for constitutional amendment to ban slavery.
- June 15, 1864: Republican Congress votes equal pay for African-American troops serving in U.S. Army during Civil War.
- June 28, 1864: Republican majority in Congress repeals Fugitive Slave Acts.
- October 29, 1864: African-American abolitionist Sojourner Truth says of President Lincoln: “I never was treated by anyone with more kindness and cordiality than were shown to me by that great and good man.”
- January 31, 1865: 13th Amendment banning slavery passed by U.S. House with unanimous Republican support, intense Democrat opposition.
