There are so many stories making up the mosaic of national/international news that we can’t cover them all every week. The biggest stories now seem to be: the Trump presidency, immigration (migrants and illegals), wars, weaponization of government (the deep state) against Trump and conservatives, our nation’s debt, massive inflation, climate change controversy and related expenses of government, industry attempting to address these issues, the Chinese threat, national security, abortion, Elon Musk’s DOGE (Department of Government Efficiency), taxpayer cuts, and Ukraine peace and hatred and violence against Christians. Here are just a few:

‘King Of Kings’ Presents The Life Of Christ In A Whole New Light
Written, directed, edited, and co-produced by South Korean filmmaker Seong-ho Jang (in his feature debut), the Angel Studios animated release “The King of Kings” puts an entirely new and welcome spin on the greatest story ever told.
In a relatively short running time of 103 minutes, Seong-ho’s film includes Christ’s teachings and almost every major event in his life without rushing, condensing, or turning them into a bullet-point presentation. There isn’t a single depiction in “Kings” that hasn’t been shown before in other projects. What makes this movie so different, special, and infinitely watchable is the wholly original presentation.
“Lord,” written by Charles Dickens wasn’t published until 1934, the year after the death of Dickens’s last surviving child—a condition expressly included in the author’s will. Dickens requested this because he wrote the book not for profit but to read to his 10 offspring every Christmas. In putting together “Kings,” Seong-ho combines elements of the Bible with “Lord” to astonishing effect.

Pope Francis: A look back at his legacy
U.S. presidents mourned the death of Pope Francis, who served as the leader of the Catholic Church for 12 years, on Monday following the Vatican’s announcement of the pope’s passing. The College of Cardinals elected Pope Francis, 88, to serve as the pope following Pope Benedict XVI in March 2013. His election marked the first time a non-European served as pope in more than 1,000 years. Pope Francis, born with the name Jorge Mario Bergoglio, originally hailed from Argentina.
“Rest in Peace Pope Francis!” President Donald Trump said in a post on Truth Social on Monday. “May God Bless him and all who loved him!”

Supreme Court Takes Up Religious Rights Dispute Over LGBTQ Books In Maryland Schools
The U.S. Supreme Court is hearing arguments Tuesday over the religious rights of parents in Maryland to remove their children from elementary school classes using storybooks with LGBTQ characters. The case is the latest dispute involving religion to come before the conservative-led court. The justices have repeatedly endorsed claims of religious discrimination in recent years.
The Montgomery County public schools, in suburban Washington, D.C., introduced the storybooks as part of an effort to better reflect the district’s diverse population. Parents sued after the school system stopped allowing them to pull their kids from lessons that included the books. The parents argue that public schools cannot force kids to participate in instruction that violates their faith, and they pointed to the opt-out provisions in sex education classes. The schools said allowing children to opt out of the lessons had become disruptive. Lower courts backed the schools, prompting the parents’ appeal to the Supreme Court.

“This Is Displacement, Not Immigration”: Muslims Now Majority In Vienna Schools As Freedom Party Sounds Alarm Over ‘Great Replacement’
In what many citizens concerned with the survival of Austria as a European nation-state are calling a demographic tipping point, Muslims have now become the largest religious group in Vienna’s compulsory schools, comprising a striking 41.2% of all students across primary, secondary, and vocational education levels.
The stark demographic shift has sparked outrage among conservatives and nationally-minded citizens in Austria, with the Freedom Party (FPÖ) warning that the capital is being culturally transformed beyond recognition. “This is no longer immigration. This is displacement,” said Maximilian Weinzierl, national council member and leader of the FPÖ’s youth wing. “41.2% of Muslim students—that’s no longer a minority, that’s the new majority. What we as the FPÖ have been warning about for decades, but which was always dismissed as right-wing scaremongering, is now reality: Immigration has completely overrun our country.”
Hannes Amesbauer, the Freedom Party’s security policy spokesman, didn’t mince words either, declaring that “Austrians will soon be strangers in their own country.”
Martin Sellner, a right-wing activist in Austria, had this to say about the newly released figures: “Muslim majority in Viennese schools. 10 years ago, it was only secondary schools. Five years ago, it was only the elementary school. Now all schools—tomorrow the whole city. This is a brutal population replacement. An illegal settlement policy that destroys our culture and the sovereignty of our people. The biggest crime of the 21st century. Remigration will stop it.”

DNI Gabbard Refers Intel Officials To DOJ For Prosecution Over Alleged Leaks Of Classified Information
Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard referred two intelligence community professionals to the Department of Justice for criminal prosecution Wednesday over alleged leaks of classified information, Fox News Digital has learned.
An ODNI official told Fox News Digital that the intelligence community professionals allegedly leaked classified information to the Washington Post and the New York Times. A third criminal referral is “on its way” to the DOJ.
Earlier this month, Gabbard established a new task force to restore transparency and accountability in the intelligence community. Fox News Digital first reported on the Director’s Initiative Group (DIG), which started by investigating weaponization within the intelligence community.
Officials said the group will also work to root out politicization and expose unauthorized disclosures of classified intelligence. In addition, it will work to declassify information “that serves a public interest.”

DOT Sec. Duffy Warns Blue States: Comply With Trump Orders Or Lose Transportation Funding
Department of Transportation (DOT) Sec. Sean Duffy has threatened to withhold funding from states that refuse to comply with President Donald Trump’s executive orders, warning them that utilizing diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) practices and resisting compliance with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) could result in “enforcement actions being taken by DOT.”
Duffy, a former Wisconsin congressman who was selected by Trump in November to run the department, addressed a letter to all DOT grant recipients on Wednesday to remind them that they must comply with federal law to receive taxpayer dollars for transportation projects.

Democrats MS-13 Fetish Keeps Getting Worse
Democrat so called lawmakers, including Reps. Robert Garcia, Maxwell Frost, Yassamin Ansari, and Maxine Dexter, jetted off to El Salvador to demand the release of Kilmar Abrego Garcia, despite confirmations of his MS-13 gang affiliation, alleged wife beating and suspected human trafficking, only to be denied a meeting and left shouting into the void for “daily proof of life.” They are attempting to frame this as a constitutional crisis, but it’s hard to take it seriously when they themselves have a track record of dismissing the constitution.
Their demands got them nowhere, as Salvadoran officials ghosted their requests, leaving them to record horribly filmed statements from their phones looking useless. These Democrats clearly have some kind of fetish for MS-13 criminals, literally traveling overseas for them, the obsession seems to have no end.

Trump Honors Wounded Vets in Oval Office
On Wednesday, President Donald Trump welcomed wounded veterans into the Oval Office to honor their service and their sacrifice for our country.
The White House described them in a video as “American heroes who have given more than we can ever repay. Their strength humbles us. Their sacrifice defines us. They are the heart of this nation, and we will never forget what they gave for our freedom.”

Federal Judge Blocks Trump’s Directive To Require Proof Of Citizenship For Voter Registration
A judge on April 24 blocked President Donald Trump’s order that officials require people to provide proof of U.S. citizenship in order to register to vote. The Election Assistance Commission (EAC) must stop taking action to require a passport or other proof of citizenship for voter registration, U.S. District Judge Colleen Kollar-Kotelly said in an order.
Trump in a March order said that the EAC, established by Congress to help officials administer elections, shall take steps to require “documentary proof of United States citizenship” in its national mail voter registration form. The commission had recently advised states that it is considering how to amend the federal form, which lets people register to vote.

New Mexico Judge, Wife Arrested After Allegedly Harboring Tren de Aragua Gang Members
A New Mexico magistrate judge and his wife are under arrest after they allegedly harbored reported Tren de Aragua gang members. The judge resigned from his position last week after Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials arrested a Venezuelan man said to be living on his property.
ICE law enforcement officials arrested recently resigned Magistrate Judge Joel Cano and his wife, Nancy, at their home in Las Cruces, New Mexico, on Thursday. ICE officials executed a search warrant and probable cause warrant and took them into custody, Fox 14 El Paso reported. Joel Cano is currently charged with tampering with evidence and his wife is charged with conspiracy to tamper, the report states.

FBI Arrests Judge Who Helped Illegal Migrant Dodge Deportation
The FBI has arrested a left-wing Wisconsin judge for allegedly helping an illegal migrant escape arrest, according to a Wisconsin newspaper. Judge Hannah Dugan, 65, graduated from the University of Wisconsin Law School in 1987. Since then, she spent a large swath of her career working for the poor and vulnerable, first with legal aid organizations and then as executive director of Catholic Charities. Dugan, a former Milwaukee Bar Association president, was elected to Branch 31 of the Circuit Court in 2016, defeating incumbent Paul Rifelj, an appointee of then-Gov. Scott Walker. The arrest comes as President Trump’s deputies try to enforce the nation’s popular immigration laws in the face of massive resistance from the establishment’s politicians, judges, and media, and amid a rising number of crimes committed by illegal migrants.

Dozens of world leaders filed into St Peter’s Square on Saturday morning for the Solemn Requiem Mass for Pope Francis, who died on Monday morning after an illness. President Donald Trump and the First Lady Melania were among the last to be shown to their seats before St Peter’s Basilica, having first been given a moment alone with the casket under the dome.

‘No excuse’: Bipartisan Fury Erupts Over New Jersey’s REAL ID Backlog
It’s virtually illegal to make a left turn in many parts of New Jersey, and bipartisan lawmakers there are outraged at how equally difficult it is to make a REAL ID appointment as of late.
“We’ve known for years that this deadline was coming,” state Assemblymember Nancy Muñoz, R-Union, told Fox News Digital on Friday. “There’s no excuse for the Motor Vehicle Commission to be this unprepared. Constituents are waking up early, refreshing their screens, only to watch appointments vanish in seconds,” Muñoz, the Budget Committee’s minority leader, said.

Trump’s Education Boss Exposes How Biden’s Debt Forgiveness Was ‘Massively’ Profitable
Education Secretary Linda McMahon, appointed by President Donald Trump, penned a scathing op-ed in The Wall Street Journal on Tuesday. McMahon exposed the ways in which everyone but the students benefited from the student loan forgiveness policies of Joe Biden’s administration. McMahon’s piece, titled “Accountability Returns to Student Loans,” in the Journal pulls no punches. She argues that Biden’s approach enriched colleges while leaving students in debt. She highlighted the structural issues with student loans. McMahon wrote, “Student loans must always be paid back because they are unlike other types of consumer loans. If a borrower stops paying a mortgage or a car payment, he will go into foreclosure or find his car repossessed,” she continued. “Student loans have no collateral. It is impossible to repossess a college degree. Meanwhile, students graduate six figures in the red.”
