About Mitchell Keiter

Mitchell Keiter has served in the County Clerk’s office for almost 19 years. During his tenure, he has held the positions of Chief Deputy of Information Technology and Chief Deputy of Compliance and Accountability. In 2017, Mitchell began serving as the Nassau County Clerk of the Circuit Court and Comptroller’s Chief Deputy of Operations, where he helped manage the nearly 1,000 statutory responsibilities and critical public services the Clerk’s office must provide, including financial administration and oversight, information management, and record-keeping for our county government and judicial system.
Under the leadership of retiring Clerk John A. Crawford, Mitchell learned the value (and necessity) of upholding the principles of integrity, transparency, and accountability for the citizens of Nassau County. He understands the importance of creating an environment of open communication and accessibility, where residents can easily access the information and services provided by the office. He also recognizes the critical role of technology in modernizing and streamlining processes.
This second-generation Nassau County native is a former small business owner and volunteers for YMCA youth sports and the local club volleyball team. Mitchell has been married to his high school sweetheart, Jennifer, for 23 years. They have two children, Peyton (15) and Lucas (11), who attend Nassau County schools.
Mitchell tells us, “I am committed to implementing innovative solutions that enhance efficiency and reduce costs for all residents. As your next Clerk, I pledge to work tirelessly to maintain the highest standards of professionalism and ethics you require from this office and lead each day by ensuring we carry out our mission statement: We are public servants! Our every effort shall be dedicated to protecting and preserving the public trust.
“I am endorsed by the retiring Clerk of the Circuit Court and Comptroller John A. Crawford and would greatly appreciate your consideration when voting on August 20th.”
About Allan Reynolds

Allan subsequently served in the Nassau County Sheriff’s Office (2011-2012) and the Nassau County Clerk of Court (2012-2014). Since 2014, Allan has served in Sheriff Leeper’s administration as Finance Manager and Chief Financial Officer. In 2021 Allan was promoted to Director of Financial Services, where he now oversees all financial operations including budgeting, payroll, accounts payable, inmate accounts, and general accounting duties. Allan is a graduate of Fernandina Beach High School and the University of North Florida in Jacksonville where he attained a Bachelor of Business Administration in Banking and Finance, and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Financial Services. Allan is a Certified Government Finance Officer (CGFO) with the Florida Government Finance Officers Association. Allan Reynolds is endorsed by Sheriff Bill Leeper for Nassau County Clerk of Court & Comptroller. In his endorsement, Sheriff Leeper highlighted Reynolds’ extensive experience, integrity, and commitment to the community, emphasizing that Reynolds is the ideal candidate to uphold the responsibilities of the office. Allan tells us, “I am dedicated to serving our community as your next Clerk of Court & Comptroller. My mission is to make a positive difference for all Nassau County residents.
