The Christians of America have a very simple choice in the Presidential election. They must, in my opinion, vote for President Donald J. Trump to be the 47th President of the United States. He is, in my opinion, the only man who can save America from disaster.
The politics of our day have become a choice between Judeo-Christian, Biblical values, or the liberal values of socialism, communism, secular humanism and atheism.
The Republican Party and President Trump have become aligned with the Judeo-Christian values that made America great, and they clearly deserve our vote in November. We only have two choices in the Presidential election – President Trump or President Biden. President Trump had an awesome record as President from 2016 to 2020. Inflation was non-existent and we had record, low unemployment in all racial groups. We were moving toward energy independence for the first time in history. Young people could buy a home with low interest rates. The American dream was alive and well. In short, we had peace and prosperity. Our border with Mexico was secure. ISIS was destroyed and terrorism was defeated. He stood up for Christian values. He appointed three Supreme Court justices who reversed Roe v Wade and have now restored our religious freedom. He was a strong supporter of Israel, moved our embassy to Jerusalem, and engineered peace treaties with surrounding Arab nations (the Abraham Accords). He was, in my view, anointed by God to be our President, and will be so again. The alternative, Joe Biden is the antithesis of Trump and Trump’s policies and would be a disaster for the country.
So what are the key issues that Christians should care about in this election?
Issue number one is the security of our border with Mexico, and the flood of illegal aliens coming into our country. National security is the most important function and responsibility of our President and Biden has failed miserably in this regard. His policy of an open border with Mexico is one of the most outrageous policies in my lifetime, and threatens our national security in many ways. Some twenty (20) million illegal aliens have come into our country on Biden’s watch, which is overwhelming our education and health care system, and causing a terrible crime wave. Trump’s wall and other policies such as “Stay in Mexico” prevented this problem, and he will do that again when elected in November. Safe borders and national security are very Biblical Judeo-Christian values. God created the nations and said that nations that followed him would be blessed with safe borders. We are a nation of immigrants, but legal immigrants. Law and order must prevail!
Issue number two is inflation and the economy and out of control spending by government under Biden. The Bible speaks against debt and says that nations blessed of the Lord will lend to many nations and not borrow from any. The out of control spending by Biden and the Democrats has created the 20% inflation levels we see today. People cannot afford gasoline and groceries and young people cannot afford to buy a home because the mortgage interest rates are over 7%. The American dream is in great peril. Trump will restore our economy as he did before. He will cut taxes, raise tariffs on China, and will end the wars in the Ukraine and Israel and the spending that is causing our inflation.
Issue number three, abortion and the sanctity of life. President Trump and the Republican party have taken the lead in fighting the evil of abortion in our land which is the moral issue of our day. Biden and the Democrats have defended the right to abortion and one Democrat Governor even defended infanticide after the baby was born. The Democrats want the right to abortion all the way up to the time of birth as we can see from the proposed Constitutional Amendment in Florida. If this were the only issue in the race, it would be decisive for Christians. Trump’s Supreme Court ended the right to an abortion, and Trump’s pro-life leadership will have an influence on the abortion issue now in the state legislatures.
Issue number four, the gay and LGBTQ agenda including men in women’s sports, men in women’s restrooms and locker rooms, transgender surgery on
minors, and same sex marriage. President Trump has spoken out against all these evils and Biden and the Democrats have supported and funded them. Believe it or not, George Soros and the Democrats are not only funding this issue, but have poured millions of dollars into an effort to change the views of Christian pastors and church’s on gay issues. The Bible says woe to those who call evil good and good evil. Christians must vote for President Trump and the Republicans on this issue as well. President Trump will bring sanity on these issues back to America.
Issue number five is the need for support for Israel. President Trump was a very strong supporter of Israel and their great President Bibi Netanyahu. Trump moved the American embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, something five Presidents had promised to do must never did. Trump also negotiated peace treaties between Israel and many neighboring Arab states, called the Abraham Accords. Biden, however, has actually funded the Palestinians and Hamas who savagely attacked Israel on October 7, 2023. Biden also has been a weak supporter of
Israel and Netanyahu, and has failed to strongly condemn the wave of antisemitism on college campuses and even in the Congress after the outbreak of the war. Biden has also failed to stop Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon which is an existential threat to Israel.
Issue number six is Globalism versus nationalism. President Trump has a policy of “America first” and is a staunch supporter of American independence. He is opposed to surrendering our rights to any global powers or a “one world government.” Patriotism has returned to America thanks to President Trump and he will continue to restore that again. Biden and the Democrats call patriotism by negative terms like nationalism, and they want to give up our rights to the United Nations and the World Health Organization. Trump will not allow that, and is proud to call himself a “nationalist.”
Issue number seven is the military threat of China, Russia, Iran and North Korea. President Trump had all of those countries “at bay” during his term. Trump was a strong leader who was respected by our enemies. Biden, however, has been a very weak leader, and weakness breeds contempt and military conquest. Under Biden, Russia invaded Ukraine, and Gaza and Hamas attacked Israel. China is now a serious threat to the independence of Taiwan. World War III is not impossible. We must have the strong leadership of President Trump to insure our peace and safety in this dangerous world.
Issue number eight is crime. President Trump was a strong supporter of the police and law and order. Under Biden and his liberal policies, the police have come under physical attack all over the country. More police have been attacked and killed under Biden than any other President, and this is due in part to Biden’s liberal rhetoric. Illegal aliens are causing a crime wave in many large cities. We must re-elect President Trump to restore law and order, which is a major Biblical principle.
Issue number nine is energy and the climate. Under President Trump, America was basically energy independent for the first time in our history, due to Trump’s great policies which encouraged drilling for oil. Biden has shut down pipelines, and discouraged drilling. Trump will say “Drill baby drill!” Biden and the Democrats have done their best to abolish fossil fuel such as coal, advocate for electric cars which most people cannot afford, and spent hundreds of billions of dollars on the so-called “climate crisis”. President Trump however believes that fossil fuel is critical to our economy and national security, and is opposed to spending money on a “climate crisis” that is simply part of world weather cycles and which cannot be solved by human efforts or spending.
Issue Number ten is the illegal and unconstitutional use of the government and the courts by Biden and the Democrats to influence elections, stifle freedom of speech and threaten democracy. The Democrats tried for years to slander Trump with a false allegation that he was a Russian plant. The media was complicit and lied to America for years. Their own Independent Counsel found no collusion between Trump and Russia. The Democrats then spied on him, and colluded with social media to stifle freedom of speech and influence the 2020 election. Now, Biden and the Democrats have actually used the criminal courts to indict President Trump on false charges to stop him from running a successful campaign for re- election. This Democrat “lawfare” is one of the most egregious political actions of my lifetime. All of the legal cases against Trump are falling apart, and reveal the sinister nature of Biden and the Democrats. The Supreme Court has ruled that former Presidents have absolute and immunity for official acts, and a Federal judge in Florida has dismissed the official document case due to an unconstitutional appointment of a special counsel. It is Biden and the Democrats, not Trump, who are the real threats to American democracy.
Finally, on July 13, 2024, we actually saw an attempted assassination of President Trump. Biden and the Democrats slandered him, spied on him, tried to keep him off the ballot, and prosecuted him. They called him every name in the book, like Hitler and dictator, and a threat to democracy and our freedom. Biden said we need to put a “bullseye” on Trump. Words have consequences. Now someone has tried to kill him. But God protected him, and he has emerged from that day as a great national hero like Ronald Reagan. Trump came back up with his fist in the air saying “Fight!” He is truly a bold leader, and worthy of our support. We must fight for Trump and the Judeo-Christian values that made America great.
Some Christians do not like Trump because of his strong personality and the moral failures in his past. He is a bold leader with a big ego. He is a brilliant businessman, now worth billions of dollars. He really knows how to make good things happen! He is not a “bully” as some say; he only verbally attacks other politicians who have verbally attacked him; self defense is fully proper, especially in politics. Jesus also called people names: “snakes”, “whitewashed tombs” and even “sons of the Devil”. Trump did have some moral failures in his past, but I believe he is a changed man and now is a great Christian leader. He has done more to advance Judeo-Christian values that any other President since Ronald Reagan. He is not a perfect man or candidate, but nobody is. He is not running for Pope, he is running for President. And the alternative, Joe Biden, would be a real disaster for our country in many ways. Make no mistake: every Christian must vote to re-elect Donald J. Trump the 47th President of the United States. And if every Christian votes, I believe Trump will win this election in a major landslide.

Judge John Marshall Meisburg, Jr., was a U.S. Administrative Law Judge with the Social Security Administration for 26 years in Jacksonville, Florida.
