Faith/Press Release
By Judge John Meisburg, 5-3-25
Many local churches and pastors came together on May 1, 2025, for the National Day of Prayer held at First Baptist Church on Amelia Island.
Judge John Meisburg, Chairman of the local event, began the program by citing all of the answers to prayer in American history. Praise and worship music was provided by the Living Waters Worship Team and Sonshine Academy. Pastors from seven churches and Congressman Aaron Bean, and Judge Robert Foster prayed for God to restore the seven mountains of influence in our culture. And, for the first time, the program had “Rapid Fire Prayer for America” allowing people from the congregation to pray prayers for America. At the end of the program, all pastors came up front and prayed for the people at the altar.
