About David Hoyt
As the Executive Director of Development at The Heartland Institute, David Hoyt oversees Heartland’s fund-raising department, connecting the philanthropic interests of the organization’s supporters with the team’s impactful work to expand freedom in America.
Prior to Heartland, David led development departments at Young Americans for Liberty, Project Veritas, and others, as well as working as a fund-raising consultant for more than other 30 public policy nonprofit organizations and members of Congress.
David lives in Jacksonville Beach, Florida with his wife, Lindsay, their two wonderful daughters, and ill-mannered dog. He and his wife also served together on the founding board of Cornerstone Classical Academy, a new classical charter school in Jacksonville, Florida.
