- It was terrific to see so many of you at the early afternoon showing of the new Jim Caviezel movie, Sound of Freedom, at the AMC theater in Fernandina’s Lofton Square yesterday. What a powerful, wake-up-call movie! It’s one movie EVERY American adult should see, about rescuing trafficked children. This is not a movie for children, but it is about God’s precious children. Every single parent, grandparent, aunt and uncle will definitely relate to it (there but for the grace of God go we). It’s not at all a blood and guts / foul language / sexually explicit movie, but it is profound, it ends well, and will leave you a changed person who will want to do something to fix this global problem.
One of my favorite investigative journalists, Pepe Lives Matter, posted the following review. I’m sharing it because I could not say it better than he does:
I went to the theater to watch Sound of Freedom last night. The quality of the movie is top tier. It doesn’t feel cheap in any way like some “Christian” movies. The acting is excellent. Especially from the child actors. I also thoroughly enjoyed the chemistry between Jim Caviezel and an ex-criminal who teamed up with him to save the children. Jim has some powerful moments, especially in his final speech after the credits. One couldn’t help but shed a tear.
The entire movie theater was completely quiet. Not a word was said once the movie ended. You could hear a pin drop. No one wanted to look at each other as we left the movie and walked to our cars. Everyone was legitimately somber. It ends on a high note. It’s almost eerie how much it strikes a chord in you, as the soundtrack has children singing the lyrics, ” We are not for sale.”
A mixture of emotions. From anger to sadness to astonishment is potent. There’s something to putting a story on screen that makes the child trafficking atrocity more real than it has ever been.
I couldn’t help but think. What if that was a child from my own family? What would I do? Words cannot describe it.
I’m certain that this movie is a powerful tool and can be used as a lightning rod for change. All of us prayer warriors must begin to pray like never before for the complete end of this horrendous crime that has plagued our society. May God awaken and empower us all.
Since I originally purchased two tickets for a showing in Jacksonville next week (because the AMC here had not yet agreed to show it when I bought my tickets that very first day), I will be donating those 2 tickets to parents or teachers at the Cornerstone Classic Academy in JAX. I hope all of you will pay-it-forward to buy tickets for someone you love, wherever they live in this country. You can still buy discount tickets for yourself or others you love (courtesy of Steve Bannon’s War Room) at https://www.angel.com/warroom?zip=32034&date=2023-07-05 … just enter the appropriate zip code for theaters in that area.
You can also purchase tickets to pay-forward (that will be given to people who may not be able to afford to see it) at https://www.angel.com/pay-it-forward/sound-of-freedom?utm_medium=direct&utm_source=angel-freedom&utm_campaign=sound-of-freedom-theatrical They are hoping to offer 2 million “free” tickets.
If you would like to donate to Operation Underground Rescue (which Tim Ballard, the main character in the movie, founded—due to those two children highlighted in the movie) you can do so at: https://ourrescue.org/ (I’ve had an automatic monthly donation set up ever since Tyson Wright, OUR’s Director of Outreach, came to speak to We the People last year).
Another good alternative is to donate to the Association for the Recovery of Children, which Lara Logan is affiliated with, at: https://recoveryofchildren.org/index.htm
- On a similar note, I follow Dr. Douglas Frank on Telegram (the amazing statistician we all came to know thanks to Mike Lindell’s cyber symposium in August 2021). Like Professor David Clements, Dr. Frank has dedicated himself to traveling the country ever since to talk about voter fraud. He posted this yesterday about “Recidivism” (repeating criminal behavior):
I spoke to a pastor last year who is also a part-time parole officer with a case load of twenty. He told me that nineteen of the twenty cases he monitors are typically child molesters.
I asked him how often the convicts repeat their previous offense. He said about eighty percent.
Think about this… By releasing these nineteen sexual predators back into the public we are robbing at least sixteen youngsters of their childhoods—indeed, condemning some to death or a life of sex-trafficking. That’s assuming we catch the predators after their first repeat offense.
I believe in forgiveness and redemption, but not at the expense of innocent children. I also believe in justice. If someone hurts a young child, their liberty is forfeit at the least. The fact that we permit this lays bare the low value we place on human life.
We are depraved. Protect your children. Kyrie eleison.
- Also on a similar note: Mel Gibson has apparently released part 1 of classified documents where he is exposing Pedophile Rings and Hollywood Elites. He said “It’s become more lucrative and much safer to sell malleable teens than drugs or guns. A pound of heroin or an AK-47 can be retailed once, but a young girl can be sold 10 to 15 times a day—and a ‘righteous’ pimp confiscates 100 percent of her earnings.” I’ve read that Mel Gibson’s life is in danger (as you can imagine) and Navy SEALS are protecting him. May God Bless Mel Gibson and the SEALS protecting him .
According to Tim Ballard, Mel Gibson is NOT the one producing the follow-up documentary on the work Operation Underground Railroad:
“I stand by every word I said in the video circulating around social media. Mel is a personal hero of mine and called me back in 2022 with valuable intelligence regarding children who were rumored to be vulnerable to human traffickers in Ukraine. Using that intelligence, we went to Ukraine, where Operation Underground Railroad, Aerial Recovery Group, and The Nazarene Fund were successful in beginning the process of dismantling a dangerous international pedophile ring.
“Mel deserves all the credit for taking the initiative to further the critical work that we do. I am personally grateful for his support as we worked on this documentary, however, reports this four-part series is actually being produced by Mr. Gibson are not accurate. It’s being produced by Nick Nanton of DNA Films and includes several executive producers such as Kyle Cease, Tony and Sage Robbins, and other wonderful and talented people.”
I’ve heard from Juan O. Savin (apparently also involved in the production) that the follow-on movie(s) is even more powerful than the Sound of Freedom.
- Also on a similar note, according to a joint investigation by The Wall Street Journal and academics at Stanford University and University of Mass at Amherst, Instagram connects a vast child predator network. https://www.theverge.com/2023/6/7/23752192/instagrams-recommendation-algorithms-promote-pedophile-networks-investigation
I have several other noteworthy topics to share with you, but they’ll have to wait until tomorrow. All this is enough for one day.
Human Trafficking is the #1 problem in the world. In terms of the $Bs generated globally, it’s ahead of the drug trade and weapons trade………Thankfully, regardless of one’s politics, child trafficking is a subject that should unite the world (at least everyone in the world who isn’t participating…which unfortunately includes many from Hollywood; local, state and federal government officials; and the elites of the world).
May God Save the Children,
