Ken Timmerman’s Threat Watch, www.kentimmerman.com 10-20-23

I don’t know about you, but I found Biden’s speech last night on the murderous Hamas attacks on Israel disturbing. It wasn’t just his stumbling, mealy-mouthed delivery. It was also the content. How dare he travel to Israel and lecture the Israeli prime minister not to act out of “rage” against Hamas. So far, Israel has waited nearly two weeks before moving into Gaza. That is not “rage” nor precipitous; nor, as the IDF reminds us, will it be vengeance. Israel will strike mercilessly to defend its national interest, which means it will eradicate Hamas as a fighting force. It will do so with cold, calculated force. To hear Biden whine about the apparent hate-crime killing of a six-year old Palestinian-American boy in Chicago last week, as if there were some moral equivalence between his death and the death of 1400 Israelis, was frankly obscene. How many parents of U.S. citizen-hostages has he called? How many families of American Jews who were slaughtered by Hamas? And then, there was his repeated denial that Iran was involved in the planning or execution of the Hamas attacks. No, Joe, a weak admission that Iran has long been involved with Hamas doesn’t do the trick. So why all of this solicitude for the Iranian mullahs? We now know that the lead U.S. negotiator with Iran under both Obama and Biden has been suspended and is under investigation by the FBI for consorting with alleged Iranian regime agents. And the Biden team has done nothing to eliminate some of those agents from senior U.S. government positions. One of them continues on as chief of staff to the Assistant Secretary of Defense of Special Operations. Another is the senior director for intelligence operations at the National Security Council. Let that sink in! Biden’s negotiating strategy with Iran, aside from paying ransom for hostages and allowing Iran to earn an additional $45 billion per year from oil exports that had been banned under Trump, is to beg the mullahs not to enrich uranium to weapons grade. That’s it. There is no “or else.” And if Biden uttered those words, the mullahs would laugh anyway. My friend James Carafano, a retired U.S. Army Colonel now with the Heritage Foundation, believes the mullahs could be planning to announce that they have become a nuclear weapons state – while Joe Biden is still president. Why? Because Biden has done nothing to prevent them from going nuclear, and will do nothing once they announce that they have gone nuclear. It’s a chilling prospect. I discuss this as well as Putin’s meeting with Xi in Beijing this week, the launch of Iranian cruise-missiles from Yemen against Israel, and the prospect of more Muslim hate-crimes against Swedes and other Europeans on Prophecy Today Weekend.
