By We the People

05-19-24

To We the People – This week Governor DeSantis signed three more important pieces of legislation. As the Governor defined it in a post on X, H.B. 1645, H.B. 7071 and H.B. 1331 will keep windmills off our beaches, gas in our tanks and China out of our state…. We’re restoring sanity in our approach to energy and rejecting the agenda of the radical green zealots. Furthermore, we’re going to ensure foreign adversaries like China have no foothold in our state.”

HB 1645: Energy Resources, allows resiliency facilities in local government comprehensive plans and specified districts; requires rural electric coops & municipal electric utilities to enter into mutual aid agreement for restoring power after natural disaster; requires public utilities to provide notice to PSC of power plant retirements; authorizes PSC to approve voluntary electric vehicle charging programs; prohibits construction, operation, or expansion of certain wind energy facilities & wind turbines; requires PSC to conduct assessment of state’s electric grid & natural gas facilities against physical & cyber threats; requires PSC to evaluate feasibility of using advanced nuclear power technologies; requires DOT to study hydrogen fueling infrastructure to support hydrogen-powered vehicles.

  • Essentially, this bill will ban wind farms offshore and near coastlines and prioritizes the expansion of natural gas. It will require electric co-ops and cities to have hurricane restoration plans in order to receive state funding. It will protect against gas appliance bans and it repeals Obama-era climate policies.

HB 7071: Foreign Investments by the State Board of Administration, prohibits SBA from acquiring certain holdings on behalf of specified entity; requires board to initiate review of direct holdings; requires board to develop divestment plan & divest of certain holdings.

  • Essentially this bill will safeguard against foreign influence in Florida and bans the State Board of Administration from investing state funds in CCP-linked Chinese companies.
HB 1331: Commodities Produced by Forced Labor, prohibits company on forced labor vendor list from taking certain procurement actions; prohibits agency from procuring commodities from certain companies; requires solicitations & contracts to include certain statement; requires contracts to include termination provision; requires DMS to create & maintain forced labor vendor list; subjects company that submits false certification or that should have had certain knowledge to fines; authorizes removal of company from forced labor vendor list in certain circumstances.Essentially, this bill protects against forced labor by banning companies on the state’s forced labor vendor list from getting a state contract, and fining those that cannot certify their products were produced by wage labor.

More Fingers Point to Dominion in Serbia
Fresh on the heals of Barry County, MI Sheriff Dar Leaf requesting Jim Jordan to have Congress investigate his findings that Dominion CEO John Poulos directed his staff to conceal that Dominion has Serbian and Chinese employees operating out of its Canadian office and that these employees are directly involved in the US elections….NOW, election fraud investigative journalist, Peter Bernegger, posted the following to Telegram this week–along with a picture of the Dominion Voting Systems building in Serbia (which you can find yourself by searching for the Belgrade address below on Google maps). Per Peter Bernegger:Dominion Voting Systems Co. office building. Address: Rankeova 19, Beograd 11000, Belgrade, Serbia. Photo of their office, and their official govt. license document, which I obtained directly from the Serbian Government. This is where they program the voting machines used in the USA. Programming is also done in their Toronto, Canadian office, and motherboard programming takes place in China. This is all completely illegal – violating federal FISMA for one. Also, it is unlawful to have critical infrastructure run, controlled, and accessed by foreigners. And our US Congressmen and US Senators do nothing even when it is now proven that 100% of Dominion employees in Serbia and Canada are accessing our voting machines while the machines are sitting in election clerks’ offices.
