There are so many stories making up the mosaic of national/international news that we can’t cover them all every week. The biggest stories now seem to be: election, Trump trials, immigration, wars, massive orchestrated ‘Palestine’ protests/riots, weaponization of government, lawfare, our nation going bankrupt, massive inflation, phony climate change controversy and related expenses of government/industry attempting to address these issues, and the Chinese threat. So here are just a few:

Elon Musk Backs Republican Election Legislation To Stop Noncitizens From Voting, Calls Opponents of the Bill “TRAITORS”

Elon Musk took a bold stance in support of a new Republican-authored election bill requiring individuals to prove they are American citizens to register to vote in federal elections. The billionaire entrepreneur shared a thread from House Speaker Mike Johnson, R-LA, which outlined the bills contents. He pointedly wrote, “Those who oppose this are traitors. All Caps: TRAITORS. What is the penalty for traitors again?”

In a report of Musk’s post, Fox Business pointed out that the United States Constitution says that traitors guilty of treason should be sentence to death or imprisoned for at least five years, along with a minimum $10,000 fine. Additionally, traitors are prohibited from holding office in the United States.

X users agreed with Musk’s stance, with one user writing, “Facts. It shouldn’t be some complicated issue.”

The House plans to vote on the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility (SAVE) Act this week. Speaker Johnson recommended that all Republicans support the measure, but House Democrats are whipping member to oppose the legislation. In May, 52 House Democrats voted with the Republicans to stop non-citizens from voting in Washington D.C. local elections, but the bill was not taken up in the Senate. Republicans undoubtedly knew the bill’s fate once it landed on Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer’s desk, but showing the public the Democrats’ stance about non-citizens voting was the main focus.

‘Well-Connected’ Democrats Float ‘Blitz Primary’ Plan to Replace Biden, Would Enlist Taylor Swift

Two well-connected Democrat advisers are reportedly shopping a plan to replace President Joe Biden on the 2024 ticket through a “blitz primary” process before the party’s August convention.

According to Semafor, the plan was authored by former Obama and Clinton administration official and current Georgetown University law professor Rosa Brooks and Ted Dintersmith, a venture capitalist and donor. Their plan has been circulated among Democrat donors and fundraisers, as well as officials within the Biden campaign and administration, according to the outlet.

The plan would reportedly entail:

— Biden stepping down as the Democrat nominee in mid-July, announcing the new system, with support from Vice President Kamala Harris;
— potential candidates having a “few days” to throw their hats in the ring;
— the Democrat Party beginning a primary “sprint” in which the six candidates with the most votes from delegates pledge to run “positive-only campaigns” in the month leading up to the convention;
— weekly forums with each candidate moderated by “cultural icons” such as Michelle Obama, Oprah, and Taylor Swift in order to engage voters;
— the nominee being chosen by delegates before the start of the Chicago convention on Aug. 19 and being announced “with plenty of fanfare on the third day of the gathering”;
— the nominee being unveiled on stage with Biden, Barack Obama, and Bill Clinton; and
— Biden being celebrated as a “modern-day George Washington.”

Steve Bannon Speaks from Behind Bars: Democrats Sticking with Biden Means ‘We Got the Candidate We Want’

Former White House chief strategist Stephen K. Bannon, the host of War Room and the former executive chairman of Breitbart News currently serving a four-month sentence in Danbury federal prison in Connecticut, is speaking out from behind bars in an exclusive interview with Breitbart News conducted via email for the first time since he was incarcerated just over a week ago.

BANNON: So, we got the candidate we want…and the country is stuck with a non-performing cadaver.

BREITBART: Congress is coming back this week. What should Republicans in Congress be doing? What should Speaker Johnson do?

BANNON: Speaker Johnson needs to deal with these issues immediately: weaponization of DOJ; single subject appropriations bills; the Biden investigations on taking money from the CCP and Ukraine; Biden investigations into his suitability to actually perform as Commander-in-Chief—and any coverup; and passing Chip Roy’s bill on stopping illegals from voting.

BREITBART: It seems as though the media writ large have turned on Biden creating an irreparable divide between them. Can Biden ever win them back?

BANNON: The media know they have collaborated and conspired with Biden on some of the worst ventures of this regime…the degree and viciousness they attacked Biden from that night shows you their fear…

SAVE Act Passes House 221-198 – Almost Every Democrat Voted to ‘Protect’ the Ability of Illegals to Vote in Federal Elections

The SAVE Act – which requires proof of citizenship to vote in federal elections – passed the House 221-198 on Wednesday. Nearly every Democrat lawmaker voted to protect the ability of illegals to vote in federal elections. This is after Joe Biden flooded the US with more than 15 million illegal aliens.

The White House issued a statement on Monday, condemning a House Republicans’ bill requiring proof of citizenship when registering to vote in federal elections. The bill amends the National Voter Registration Act of 1993 to require voters to show documentary proof of United States citizenship. Under current law, states can only require proof of citizenship to register to vote in local and state elections. The bill outlines five acceptable forms of identification to prove citizenship.

George Clooney calls on president to step aside: Aging Biden no longer the man he was

Even George Clooney — a mega-donor to President Biden’s reelection campaign — appears to have lost faith in the president’s ability to win the 2024 election. The two-time Oscar winner, lifelong Democrat and high-profile campaign donor has formally asked the 81-year-old commander in chief to step aside so that the party can nominate a new candidate to take on former President Trump on the November ballot. Why? Because of Biden’s “fight against time,” which Clooney characterized as the only battle that POTUS cannot win. “None of us can,” Clooney wrote Wednesday in an opinion piece for the New York Times.

Democrats took in $30 million at that downtown L.A. fundraiser, setting a record for money generated by the party in a single night. In addition to Clooney, Julia Roberts and former President Obama headlined the event and Jimmy Kimmel acted as emcee.

Clooney wrote that Biden was a “hero” who had “saved democracy” in 2020 and called upon him to “do it again in 2024.” But, citing Biden’s poor performance during CNN’s debate last month, he joined a growing number of Hollywood backers, including those who previously wrote large checks to the campaign, feeling skittish about Biden’s prospects despite the president’s resolve to remain in the race.

Some of those going public with their angst about Biden include “Lost” co-creator Damon Lindelof, Netflix co-founder Reed Hastings, media titan Barry Diller, Disney heir Abigail Disney and Endeavor Chief Executive Ari Emanuel. Filmmaker Rob Reiner wrote Wednesday on X (formerly Twitter) that “Joe Biden must step aside.”

Top House Intel Dem: We’re Seeing How Biden Holds Up Each Appearance, Can’t Think About Presidency Like That

On Thursday’s broadcast of MSNBC’s “Alex Wagner Tonight,” House Intelligence Committee Ranking Member Rep. Jim Himes (D-CT) stated that “one of the really kind- of-sick aspects of this moment is that we are watching every speech, every rally, every debate and saying, how did he do today? And that’s just not the way to think about the presidency of the United States.” And the issue is if President Joe Biden is “able to be up three days straight and to make all of the correct decisions” in a job that requires near perfection.

Himes said, “[I]t’s really not about tonight. And one of the really kind-of-sick aspects of this moment is that we are watching every speech, every rally, every debate and saying, how did he do today? And that’s just not the way to think about the presidency of the United States.”

This is a degree of stress that is unknowable to anybody but the president of the United States. And with — as much as I love and respect the man, this is not about whether he can give a good press conference, right? This is about whether you believe the trajectory, both for the country, three years from now, when the Russians are fueling missiles and Iran is doing something and the political opponents are calling him a traitor, is he able to be up three days straight and to make all of the correct decisions, right?”

Ex-Dem lawmakers supporting Biden invoked his dad’s age in 2019 attack on Biden’s stamina

A former Democrat lawmaker in South Carolina, who has donated thousands of dollars to President Biden’s re-election campaign and has recently defended his mental acuity, warned about Biden’s age in 2019 while supporting Vice President Kamala Harris’s failed presidential campaign.

“Joe Biden has been running for president since before I was born,” Bakari Sellers told Politco in 2019 while serving as a surrogate for the Harris campaign. “Joe Biden is nearly 80 years old and he’s running to be president of the United States,” Sellers said. “My dad was president of an HBCU and will be 75 this year and his doctors told him he couldn’t do it anymore.” Sellers, a CNN political analyst who formerly served in South Carolina’s House of Representatives from 2006 to 2014, said his dad, who served for seven years as the president of Voorhees College, a South Carolina historically black college, “didn’t have the energy and strength to lead that campus anymore.”

GOP plans major crackdown on ‘nameless, faceless bureaucrats’ after blockbuster Supreme Court ruling

In the wake of the Supreme Court decision that stripped authority from federal agencies in legal battles, Senate Republicans are launching a new “major” effort to curb even more the power of the “administrative state.”

Last month, the Supreme Court ruled in favor of a group of East Coast fishermen who sued a federal agency that mandated they pay $700 for daily “at sea monitors,” arguing that the government’s rule is out of the bounds Congress set for the federal agency.

In doing so, the high court overruled what is known as the Chevron doctrine, which is a legal theory established in the 1980s that says if a federal regulation is challenged, the courts should defer to the agency’s interpretation of whether Congress had granted it authority to issue the rule as long as the agency’s interpretation is reasonable and Congress had not addressed the question directly.

Sen. Eric Schmitt, R-Mo., called the Supreme Court’s decision “a critical blow to the disastrous Chevron deference standard and represents an opportunity for Congress to retake legislative power from agencies and dismantle the administrative state.”

Whistleblower Testimony: Biden Regime Paying BILLIONS to Facilitate Child Trafficking via Government Contractors

During a round table held by Republican Senators on Tuesday, federal whistleblowers claimed that the Biden Regime is facilitating the trafficking of migrant children via contractors receiving billions of taxpayer dollars.

Deborah White and her colleague Tara Rodes, who are federal employees in the Health and Human Services Unaccompanied Child Program, both testified that the Office of Refugee Resettlement sent thousands of unaccompanied migrant children into potentially dangerous environments after failing to properly vet the sponsors they were being placed with.

According to White, there’s no question: these kids are being trafficked – and the Biden Regime is “complicit.”
