There are so many stories making up the mosaic of national/international news that we can’t cover them all every week. The biggest stories now seem to be: election, Trump lawfare, immigration, wars, massive orchestrated ‘Palestine’ protests/riots, weaponization of government, our nation going bankrupt, massive inflation, phony climate change controversy and related expenses of government/industry attempting to address these issues, and the Chinese threat. So here are just a few:

Ohio Restaurants Vow Not To Show Olympics After ‘Insulting’ Opening Ceremony
Four restaurants in Ohio have announced they will not televise the Olympics to their patrons after the “insulting” displays during the opening ceremonies in Paris on Friday. The restaurants – located in Columbus and Cleveland and owned by restauranteur Bobby George – issued a joint statement on Tuesday announcing their decision to cancel the Games. The four restaurants are TownHall, REBoL, Green Goat, and Mandrake, according to WKYC.
The post read labeled the drag queen-themed parody of the Last Supper as “insulting to the Christian faith.” In addition, the statement said, “We will not tolerate any form of discrimination or desecration. Therefore, we will not be broadcasting the Olympic games at any of our restaurants.”

Athletes Unlivable Olympic Village Living Conditions
You and your fellow athletes arrive at the Olympic Village, home for the next two weeks for yourself, your teammates, and thousands of other athletes from around the world. But when you arrive, it is not exactly what you had in mind. In fact, it’s horrible. That is what many Olympic athletes encountered when they arrived at their temporary digs in the Olympic Village. The $1.6 billion facility was created to be “eco-friendly,” which should send up red flags right away.
Most of Europe does not have air-conditioning, and that goes for the Olympic Village as well. Just one problem, the first few days of the Paris games have seen temperatures in the 90s. Heat indexes could reach 105 degrees. Coping with no air conditioning does not inspire one to be competitive. Tennis player Coco Gauff took to Instagram to share the Olympic living quarters. She revealed that 10 women were forced to share one bathroom, something not achievable under normal circumstances. Five have given up and went to hotels, including Gauff’s team.
Then there are the cardboard beds. Yes, cardboard. The Olympic Village is temporary, but cardboard beds give that a whole new meaning. The athletes complained that they are very hard and uncomfortable. The beds were used in Tokyo, but according to the athletes have not improved.
Throw in the fact that many of the athletes who stay in the Village must use public transportation to get to the various venues which are not exactly around the corner from the Olympic Village, another reason many athletes have had enough eco-friendliness, and moved to hotels closer to those venues. The athletes’ valuables ae not even secure in the Olympic Village. A Japanese rugby player had a wedding ring, a necklace, and cash totaling around 3,000 euros stolen, and several players on the Argentine soccer team were robbed before they began play. There are no police in the Olympic Village. The Olympic Village in all of its eco-friendly glory was clearly not designed and planned by anyone who has participated in sports at a high level.

President Trump Goes There — Republishes Social Media Post That Links Chris Wray and the FBI to His Assassination Attempt
Less than three weeks ago, President Donald Trump barely survived an attempted assassination at his political rally in Butler, Pennsylvania. President Trump and two other supporters were injured in the gunfire. Another Trump supporter, Corey Comperatore, was killed by the would-be assassin.
We now know that the Secret Service would not allow communications with local police prior to the shooting. We also know that the police spotted the suspect 90 minutes before the shooting started. And the building the shooter was perched upon was left unattended after the police got too hot and went inside.
On Tuesday, President Trump retruthed a post on Truth Social that suggests that the FBI Director may have been in on the assassination plot. The photo of FBI Director Chris Wray reads: What did you know and when did you know about it?
Retruth. If you want to know who ordered the assassination of Donald Trump.
Maybe if government elites would quit lying, so many people would not believe the FBI was involved in this assassination attempt.

‘I Have Never Been Hit So Hard in My Life’: Italian Female Boxer Lasts Just 46 Seconds Against Fighter Who Failed Gender Test
Forty-six seconds. That was the sum total of time a female Italian boxer lasted in the ring at the Paris Olympics before she retired from a bout against against an Algerian fighter caught in an eligibility furore.
Twenty-five-year-old Imane Khalif was cleared to compete at the 2024 Olympics having earlier failed an unspecified testosterone level test. The contest Thursday between the mismatched pugilists shone fresh light on the controversy about athletes with abnormally high testosterone levels or other male characteristics being allowed to enter women’s sporting categories.
The referee announced Algerian Khalif as the winner but Carini refused to acknowledge her opponent. She fell to her knees in tears and despair as she came to terms with the end of her Olympic dream at the hands of an opponent cleared to fight by the International Olympic Committee (IOC).
Khalif will move on to the next round of the women’s 66-kilogram division. However, the win comes amid a week of controversy which will closely follow that progress. Fox News reports the Algerian Olympian was disqualified from the 2023 World Boxing Championships after the International Boxing Association determined Khelif failed gender tests.

God Will Not Be Mocked
“Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.” –Galatians 6:7 (NKJV).
In light of the embarrassing and blasphemous opening ceremony of the Paris Summer Olympic Games, in which a skit was performed that depicted a disrespectful and mocking interpretation of the Lord’s Supper, both Protestants and Catholics have united to share their disgust over such a performance. France was once known for its devout relationship to Christianity, which undoubtedly shape its current makeup and legacy. It’s disheartening to see how much Franc has stayed from biblical principles.
Franklin Graham reflected on the blasphemy, “Whether you’re Catholic, Orthodox, Anglican, or Protestant, it is offensive.” Former Fox News contributor Todd Starnes was a bit more aggressive, “Dear France, The next time you get invaded, don’t call us. Cordially, The United States of America.”
Sure, Christians have every right to defend the faith and stand up against such blasphemy, but don’t forget the ultimate judgment that will come to those who curse God with Jesus’ return to judge the living and the dead. In the meantime, Christians should remain steadfast in their mission to be the salt and light of the earth. Our motives should be to convert these individuals who are currently blind to the faith as commanded in the Great Commission. We should constantly proclaim the Gospel, which is humanity’s only hope.

FDNY Union Slams 9/11 Plea Deal: ‘We Are Disgusted And Disappointed’
A union representing New York City firefighters says its rank and file are “disgusted and disappointed” with the plea deal sparing alleged 9/11 mastermind Khalid Shaikh Mohammad and two other terrorists from the death penalty.
The Department of Defense announced Wednesday that it has entered pretrial agreements with Mohammad, Walid Muhammad Salih Mubarak Bin ‘Attash, and Mustafa Ahmed Adam al Hawsawi, who each are awaiting trial at Guantanamo Bay.
The president of the group 9/11 Justice, which describes itself as “a grassroots movement of families of the victims of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks,” also said Thursday that “We are deeply troubled by these plea deals.”
The defendants are accused of providing training, financial support and other assistance to the 19 terrorists who hijacked passenger jets and crashed them into the World Trade Center in New York City, the Pentagon in Arlington, Virginia, and a field in Shanksville, Pennsylvania, on Sept. 11, 2001. The attacks killed nearly 3,000 people in the worst terror attack on U.S. soil in American history.

2 Terrorist Leaders Assassinated in 24 Hours
In less than 24 hours, two prominent terrorist leaders in the Middle East met separate, violent, and sudden ends. Senior Hezbollah commander Fuad Shukr died Tuesday in an Israeli air strike in Beirut, Lebanon. Around 2 a.m. on Wednesday, Ismail Haniyeh, Hamas’s political leader, died in Tehran, Iran from an explosive device planted in his safehouse months earlier. The strikes came three days after a rocket fired by Hezbollah struck a soccer field in northern Israel, killing 12 children in a Druze community.

That night, 900 miles away, a bomb exploded in a safehouse of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), where Hamas’s political leader Haniyeh was staying in Tehran for the inauguration of Iran’s new president. The bomb was apparently planted months beforehand, remained undetected, and was remotely detonated.
The first strike came against Fuad Shukr, “the Hezbollah chief of staff of their terror forces in Lebanon,” said Glick. “He was responsible for all their precision guided missiles and for all of their missile strikes against Israel,” including the deadly soccer strike. Shukr has also been wanted by the United States for four decades for his role in the 1983 bombing of a Marine barracks in Beirut that killed 241 U.S. service members. “He’s been a known terrorist for decades,” Senator Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) said on Wednesday’s “Washington Watch,” with a “$5 million bounty on his head by the United States.”

Children’s National Hospital Tried To End This Christian Therapist’s Career. Now He’s Suing.
Children’s National Hospital in Washington, D.C. routinely discriminates against Christians who hold orthodox beliefs about sexuality and gender, alleges a class action lawsuit filed by licensed therapist Tyrone Obaseki. When Obaseki referred a patient there in November 2021, he encountered top-to-bottom hostility to his Christian faith, as well as constant efforts to obstruct his participation. Adding injury to insult, the hospital staff crossed state lines to assault his professional reputation, filing bogus complaints with Virginia licensing authorities that hung over Obaseki for nearly a year.
With his name freshly cleared, Obaseki is fighting back. In a class action lawsuit filed by D.C. attorney Amos Jones, he seeks “to reverse and remedy the effects of the outrageous transgressions … on behalf of himself and all others who have been damaged by Defendant’s religious discrimination against adherents to traditional faiths, unfair and deceptive trade practices, and intentional infliction of emotional distress,” according to documents obtained by The Washington Stand.

Stock Market COLLAPSES Monday Following Disastrous Jobs Report – President Trump Responds
Biden and Harris have overseen soaring levels of inflation that have depleted ordinary Americans’ savings and made everything more expensive since seizing power more than three years ago.
All of Wall Street’s main indexes crashed Monday morning, with both the Dow Jones plunging and the Nasdaq Composite cratering, plunging more than 1,000 points after the Opening Bell. This news follows last week’s disastrous jobs report, which showed a paltry 114,000 jobs were created and the unemployment rate rising to a three-year high.
This marks the worst day for stocks in almost two years. The market has lost nearly $2 trillion worth of value today alone. The Nasdaq has never been down by that amount in its history. This development follows world markets in Japan, South Korea, and Taiwan plunging by record margins earlier Monday.
Just one year ago, Harris boasted that the Bidenonomics was working and that they were proud of the results. President Trump responded to the disturbing developments on Wall Street this morning by slamming Harris and predicting a Great Depression. He framed Americans’ economic choice as one between the Kamala Crash and Trump Cash.

Rep. Cori Bush Second Squad Member to Be Unseated in Congressional Race
Rep. Cori Bush (D-MO) was unseated in a close primary race on Tuesday night for Missouri’s 1st Congressional District. Bush, who is a member of the Squad, received, 51,197 votes, or 45.8 percent, while her opponent Wesley Bell, a prosecuting attorney in St. Louis County, received 57,062 votes, or 51.0 percent of the vote, according to the Associated Press.
Bell has served as the prosecuting attorney for St. Louis County since January 2019 and has been a “strong leader for common-sense solutions to ensure law enforcement is more effective” and “efficient,” according to his campaign website. Bush’s loss comes after Rep. Jamaal Bowman (D-NY), another member of the Squad, lost his primary race in June to Westchester County Executive George Latimer. After Bowman’s loss, Bush slammed the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) Political Action Committee, claiming that they had bought votes against Bowman. Bush’s opponent, Bell, has been supported by AIPAC.
In February, Bush and Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) were the two votes vetoing a bill called, “No Immigration Benefits for Hamas Terrorists Act” which would ban Palestinians who took part in Hamas’s October 7, 2023 attack on Israel from being able to enter the United States.

Matt Gaetz Seeks To Blow Up The Media’s ‘Border Czar’ Lie
Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) is demanding answers on the “border czar” fiasco surrounding Vice President Kamala Harris. The lawmaker sent a letter to the Homeland Security Department (DHS) requesting information on all correspondence that calls Harris “Border Czar.” The letter comes as the activist media tries desperately to convince the public that Harris was never referred to by the moniker despite numerous news reports suggesting otherwise.
Unfortunately for the left, the immigration issue that has plagued the Biden administration will also affect Harris’ candidacy, especially since she was tasked with addressing the crisis at the southern border. The vice president’s ineptitude on the border crisis has been one of several factors that contributed to her record-low approval ratings, a fact that has become rather inconvenient for the left-wing press.
Even The New York Times had to admit that Harris’ role was more expansive than the media would have us believe, despite not having the official title “Border Czar.” She took on significant responsibilities related to border issues, including overseeing border security and diplomatic outreach to Central American countries, ostensibly to address the root causes of migration. This is a reality the left clearly wishes to conceal.
Perhaps Gaetz’s letter might shine some more light on the matter. But realistically, anyone who has been paying attention already knows the truth: Harris is largely responsible for the ongoing crisis at the southern border.
