There are so many stories making up the mosaic of national/international news that we can’t cover them all every week. The biggest stories now seem to be: the Trump transition, immigration (migrants and illegals), wars, weaponization of government, our nation going bankrupt, massive inflation, phony climate change controversy and related expenses of government/industry attempting to address these issues, the Chinese threat and now drones and national security. So here are just a few:

DHS Chief Alejandro Mayorkas Announces Jobs Giveaway — For Migrants
In the final weeks of President Joe Biden’s administration, Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas is announcing a jobs giveaway for newly arrived migrants with work permits. On Tuesday, Mayorkas announced a final rule from the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) that will allow millions of migrants, many of whom have been released into the U.S. interior by the Biden administration, to keep their work permits for up to 540 days when they seek a renewal. Migrants previously could renew their work permits for 180 days. For years, Democratic mayors had lobbied DHS to extend such automatic employment authorization for migrants. The rule will go into effect on Jan. 13, 2025.
At a hearing last week, Immigration Subcommittee Chairman Tom McClintock (R-CA) scolded USCIS Director Ur Jaddou for the rule — noting that inflation has continuously outpaced U.S. wages and foreign workers have netted nearly all of the nation’s job growth. Indeed, in the last year, more than a million foreign-born workers have secured American jobs while nearly 800,000 native-born Americans have dropped out of the workforce. In July of this year, a Pew Research Center study found that as of 2022, more than 30 million legal immigrants and illegal aliens were holding American jobs — a 20-percent increase over the last 15 years. During the same period, the number of native-born Americans who have been added to the workforce has increased by less than 10 percent.

Gorka: Second Trump White House Will Be ‘Very Very Different’ From The First
Dr. Sebastian Gorka, the incoming senior director of counter-terrorism and deputy assistant to the president for the Trump administration, said the second Trump White House would be significantly different from the last during a special Founders Roundtable on Breitbart Fight Cub on Monday night. Gorka, who served as a strategist for Trump during his first term, joined Breitbart News Editor-in-Chief Alex Marlow and Washington Bureau Chief Matthew Boyle for a more than hour-long discussion, where Gorka fielded questions from the editors and members of the Flight Club.
In one key analysis, Gorka detailed the differences between MAGA’s preparedness to govern from the executive branch in this incoming administration and Trump’s first term. “Of the people in senior positions who knew what MAGA is and knew what they were doing, there were less than 20 of us,” Gorka said of the beginning of Trump’s first term. “In that 60 Minutes interview, I said we were a merry band of insurgents that took over the biggest bureaucracy in the world, and as such, we were vulnerable because A: our boss was a businessman from Manhattan who had no idea how absolutely evil the swamp was, and that people like his chief of staff, General Kelly, may have been Marine Corps generals, and it hurts me to say this because I love the Marines, and I spent two and a half years teaching them at Quantico, but they were evil seditionists.”
Gorka emphasized that “the forces of MAGA were small and were boxed out very rapidly.” He pointed to Former Director for European Affairs for the United States National Security Council Alex Vindman, who sparked the first Trump impeachment, and former Chiefs of Staff Chair Mark Milley as examples of the opposition that Trump and MAGA allies in the White House were grappling with. Gorka contends that “lessons have been learned,” pointing to Trump’s tapping of people for key positions this time around who he can trust and who will implement his agenda.

“500,000 Children… We Can’t Find!” – NYC Mayor Adams After Meeting With Trump Border Czar
New York City Mayor Eric Adams stunned a room full of liberal reporters on Thursday after meeting with Trump’s incoming Border Czar Tom Homan. Adams met with Tom Homan on Thursday to discuss the Trump Administration’s plan to deport criminal aliens. The mayor held a press conference after his meeting and ripped into the liberal reporters.
“We’re not going to be a safe haven for those who commit repeated violent crimes against innocent migrants, immigrants and long-standing New Yorkers,” Adams said after the meeting. “From what I heard from the incoming head of ICE is that we have the same desire to go after those who are committing violent acts, repeated violent acts among innocent New Yorkers and among migration asylum seekers. That’s what I heard from him. And I was pleased to hear that, because we share the same desire,” Mayor Adams said.
“We have 500,000 children who had sponsors in this country that we can’t find. We can’t find them. We can’t find them. We don’t know if they’re doing child labor. We don’t know if they’re doing sex crimes. We don’t know if they’re being exploited – 500,000 children. There’s a level of hypocrisy…” Adams said.

House Releases Shocking Report On Trump Assassination Attempts
The House Task Force on the Attempted Assassination of Donald J. Trump released its final 180 page report on Tuesday. The report covers the July 13 wounding of President-elect Trump at Butler, Pennsylvania, and the September 15 assassination attempt in West Palm Beach, Florida.
The report paints a picture with which we are sadly familiar. The Secret Service’s actions in Butler, in particular, reek of complacency and privilege. Basic principles, like “communication” and “unity of command,” were totally absent. The elementary principles of tactical operations — reconnaissance, planning, control, and security — were tossed to the winds.

Amazon And Meta Each Donate $1 Million To Trump’s Inauguration
Amazon is planning to donate $1 million to President-elect Donald Trump’s inauguration fund, a move that comes as major tech companies seek to improve their relationship with the incoming president. A company spokesperson confirmed Thursday evening that the e-commerce giant will also stream Trump’s inauguration on its Prime Video service, a separate in-kind donation worth another $1 million. The report came after Trump said Thursday morning that the company’s founder, Jeff Bezos, was planning to visit him in person next week.The two men had feuded in the past. During his first term, Trump criticized Amazon and railed against the political coverage at The Washington Post, which Bezos owns. More recently, Bezos has struck a more conciliatory tone. Last week, he said at The New York Times’ Deal Book Summit in New York that he was “optimistic” about Trump’s second term while also endorsing president-elect’s plans to cut regulations.
Earlier in the day, Meta, the parent company of Facebook and Instagram, said it donated $1 million to Trump’s inauguration fund. Separately, the donation from Meta, which was also first reported by the Journal, came just weeks after Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg met with Trump privately at Mar-a-Lago. A Meta spokesperson confirmed the offering Thursday.
Stephen Miller, who has been appointed deputy chief of staff for Trump’s second term, has said that Zuckerberg, like other business leaders, wants to support Trump’s economic plans. The tech CEO has been seeking to change his company’s perception on the right following a rocky relationship with Trump. Trump was kicked off Facebook following the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the U.S. Capitol. The company restored his account in early 2023.
Google donated $285,000 each to Trump’s first inaugural and Biden’s inaugural, according to Federal Election Commission records. Inaugural committees are required to disclose the source of their fundraising, but not how they spend the money. Microsoft gave $1 million to Obama’s second inaugural, but only $500,000 to Trump in 2017 and Biden in 2021. Amazon had donated roughly $58,000 to Trump’s 2017 inaugural, much lower than $1 million it now plans to donate. The company also streamed Biden’s inauguration on Prime Video in 2021.

Daniel Penny To Attend Army-Navy Game With Trump And Vance
At the invitation of JD Vance, Daniel Penny will join the vice president-elect and Donald Trump at Saturday’s Army-Navy football game in Maryland. Penny, the 24-year-old Marine veteran who was found not guilty this week in the choking death of Jordan Neely, is seen by many as a hero for the courage he showed to protect a subway full of civilians from Neely, who apparently had serious mental problems and was threatening to kill someone.
Vance said of Penny via Xwitter Friday: “Daniel’s a good guy, and New York’s mob district attorney tried to ruin his life for having a backbone.” Vance is referring to District Attorney Alvin Bragg whose abuse of office is like nothing we’ve seen since the Democrat party instituted Jim Crow in the South. Vance added, “I’m grateful he accepted my invitation and hope he’s able to have fun and appreciate how much his fellow citizens admire his courage.”
In addition to Trump and Vance, according to various news reports, Penny will join Elon Musk, Defense Secretary nominee Pete Hegseth, Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL), and U.S. Senator-elect David McCormick (R-PA) in Trump’s suite at the stadium.

Trump Calls For Mystery Drones To Be Shot Down
President-elect Donald Trump on Friday evening called for authorities to shoot down the mysterious drones that have been seen in the skies of New Jersey and around the country. He also suggested the government must know more about the mysterious sightings.
“Mystery Drone sightings all over the Country. Can this really be happening without our government’s knowledge. I don’t think so! Let the public know, and now. Otherwise, shot them down!!! DJT” the incoming president wrote on Truth Social.
The post comes as there have been mounting reports of sightings in New Jersey, New York and, according to Philadelphia’s WPVI-TV, multiple reports of flying objects within Delaware and Philadelphia counties. The Pentagon on Wednesday denied that any foreign country was behind the mysterious drones that have flown near sensitive U.S. military sites in New Jersey.
Lawmakers from New Jersey and New York — areas that the mysterious drones have flown over — sent a letter Thursday to the FBI, Department of Homeland Security and Federal Aviation Administration demanding a briefing on the drones. Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand and Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, Democrats from New York, along with New Jersey Sens. Cory Booker (D) and Andy Kim (D) asked agencies how they are working “to identify and address the source of recent unmanned aerial system activity.” House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) received a classified briefing on the drone sightings earlier on Friday.

Dem Sen. Blumenthal: Feds Need To ‘Tell Us’ What They Know On Drones — ‘Matter of National Security’
Senator Richard Blumenthal (D-CT) said Wednesday on CNN’s “OutFront” that the federal government needs to tell the public about the mysterious drones flying over the East Coast.
Blumenthal said, “I don’t know what’s going on and neither do the agencies who have responsibility for it. And that’s why I’ve demanded answers from them. At the very least, to tell us what they are doing to determine what’s going on. There is a system of rules relating to the altitude that’s permissible for these drones. The kind of remote identification that is necessary when they are flown. There is a whole fabric of restrictions on where they can go in terms of sensitive sites, and there’s no explanation for why these agencies the FAA, the Department of Defense, the Department of Homeland Security and others like the FBI have no knowledge about apparently any of these drones and now there are hundreds of them. People are texting me, constituents are alarmed. I am alarmed as well, as much by the lack of disclosure and transparency as the suspicion about what may be going on.”
He added, “We should take it down and there are ways to take it down safely. There are ways to remove it from the skies without necessarily shooting it down. And the kinds of means we have to do so, some are classified, some not, are used around the world in sensitive situations. Now, they may not be applicable here, but one way or the other, we should be in control of the skies over people’s homes and businesses and communities and neighborhoods. People expect to know that the skies are safe above them, for airplanes, medevacs and helicopters, and also for their own privacy. It is a matter of national security. We should be taking action and the public should know what action we’re taking to determine who is running these drones, who’s behind them, and also what we’re going to do about them.”

NJ Mayor: State Told Us To Call Bomb Squad, Wear HAZMAT If Drone Is Downed, Like It’s An Atta
On Friday’s broadcast of the Fox News Channel’s “Faulkner Focus,” Belleville, NJ, Mayor Michael Melham stated that the state of New Jersey gave them guidance that day that if a drone is downed “we’re immediately to call the bomb squad of our county, and, second, our fire department has been instructed to make sure they wear hazmat suits” like it’s an attack on the homeland.
Melham stated, “On the way here, I was on the phone with my OEM team and we now have guidance coming from the state. And that guidance does say two different things. First of all, if there is a downed drone in our vicinity, we’re immediately to call the bomb squad of our county, and, second, our fire department has been instructed to make sure they wear hazmat suits.”
Host Harris Faulkner then asked, “So, if something falls out of the sky that people have seen…you’re to treat this [like] more than a plane crash, it’s treated like an attack on the homeland?”
Melham answered, “That is correct, because they’re not quite sure if there’s a payload or not, and that’s what we were told during our briefing on Wednesday.” Later, he said that “it sounds like it might very well be our highest-level government, it might be government assets that are being deployed as a countermeasure.”

Sen. Lisa Murkowski Panics Over Accountability To Voters For Blocking Trump’s Cabinet Picks
Senator Lisa Murkowski (R-AK) expressed deep concerns about facing accountability for her opposition to Trump’s cabinet nominees, during her participation in the controversial No Labels National Meeting. Her remarks, dripping with alarm and self-pity, laid bare her growing fear of primary challenges from conservative voters fed up with RINO lawmakers undermining the MAGA agenda. During the meeting, Murkowski seemed rattled by the prospect of being held accountable for her obstructionist actions.
It can be recalled that a week after Trump’s historic election victory, billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk, now a vocal advocate for conservative values, issued a sharp warning to Republicans obstructing Trump’s nominees. Musk, who has repositioned his influence in politics after acquiring Twitter and rebranding it as X, declared on the platform that his political action committee would “play a significant role in primaries.” In a fiery post responding to rumors that he may fund primary challengers to anti-Trump Republicans, Musk didn’t mince words: “How else? There is no other way.”
Musk recently visited Capitol Hill with entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy, where they rallied support for Trump’s proposed Department of Government Efficiency, aimed at slashing bureaucratic waste and reining in reckless spending. His proposed “naughty list” and “nice list” for members of Congress, as described by Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA), has sparked panic among RINOs who have grown comfortable ignoring their voter base.

Report Confirming Radioactive Material Lost In Transit — Shipping Container Arrives Damaged And Empty In New Jersey
The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has confirmed that radioactive material was lost in transit earlier this month, heightening fears about public safety and sparking theories about mysterious drone activity in New Jersey.
Officer Lew, a prominent political commentator, highlighted the NRC’s event report during a review of regulatory alerts. “While looking at the Nuclear Regulatory Commission Alerts. I can confirm that there is radioactive material that has gone missing on Dec 2nd, 2024 out of New Jersey. This might be the reason for the drones… just speculation at this point,” he wrote.
The missing material, identified as a Ge-68 pin source manufactured by Eckert & Ziegler, was reported lost by its licensee on December 3, 2024. Shipped for disposal, the container arrived at its destination severely damaged and empty. According to the NRC’s report, the radioactive source, while classified as “Less than IAEA Category 3,” still poses potential risks if mishandled or exposed for prolonged periods.
Just as this radioactive mishap was quietly made public, a string of mysterious drone sightings over New Jersey has raised eyebrows. John Ferguson, CEO of Saxon Aerospace LLC and an expert in unmanned aerial systems, has presented a startling theory: the drones may be searching for the missing radioactive material. However, Ferguson linked the sightings of drones to a more shocking claim: the disappearance of over 80 nuclear warheads from Ukraine after the collapse of the Soviet Union. According to Ferguson, these weapons have never been fully accounted for, and at least one of them may have been headed toward the United States. Ferguson recounted a conversation with a government insider who physically handled one of the missing warheads, only to see his warnings ignored by U.S. authorities.
