We have a lot of new research. New research shows the impact of right-to-carry and Constitutional Carry laws on crime, and our research looks at whether more concealed handguns result in more guns being stolen (hint: the answer is “no”). Please download and look at the research. It is what we do that no one else does to respond to the claims of the left in academia. Other work we have responds to lies this week by U.S. Surgeon General Dr. Vivek Murthy in declaring guns a public health emergency, a claim that Biden could use to declare an emergency and push yet more new gun control regulations. The Democrats and media want to rely on the FBI data to show violent crime is falling, and we point to more evidence that 32% of police departments are not reporting data to the FBI, and another 24% are only partially reporting crime data. So only 44% of police departments are reporting complete data. That is the data that they want to push to protect Democrat policies? Seriously?

Of course, I have continued doing media interviews explaining why crime has been soaring over the last few years. I have another op-ed piece on crime rising in the Washington Times. One interview that went particularly well was on D.C.’s WMAL with Vince Coglianese and is well worth listening to. Other interviews were on T.V. with Grant Stinchfield on Real America’s Voice and radio interviews with Office Tatum’s national radio showAlaska’s Michael Dukes, and Tamara Scott’s show.

Twice a year, I ask for your support for the CPRC. Your support is crucial for our continued research and educational work. I want to do two big projects before the election, but they will take substantial resources. One project is to measure how often criminals circulate through the criminal justice system without being punished. I am sure that you can appreciate the amount of time and work putting together this data will take, and I can’t guarantee we will be successful, but I want to give it a try. Your support will be crucial for us trying to do this. Of course, your donations will help us fund our existing projects.

We have several new op-ed pieces. At Real Clear Politics, we take apart Biden’s completely outrageous, dishonest gun control ad. Nikki Goeser has an op-ed at Townhall on what to do to stop mass public shootings, and she did an interview last month in Memphis on why Tennessee’s new law on armed teachers is good.

Other interviews I did cover everything from the Supreme Court’s Bump Stock Rulinghow New York City punishes people who act to protect themselves or others (and a T.V. interview on that here)the Mayorkas impeachment trialthe Nashville school shooter’s diarythe dangers of gun-free zones, and the ATF no-knock raid in Arkansas.

I am in Chile giving talks, and I will travel to Brazil on July 1st. I know that after my past trips to South America, I have gotten pushback from some of you who think I should only concentrate on what is happening in the U.S.. But I spend 90% of my 70 to 80-hour work weeks on what is happening in the U.S., and I hope people understand that what happens in the rest of the world has impacts the debate in our own country. I will start putting up videos from my talks here starting next week.

A new survey shows that two-thirds of likely voters are concerned that vote fraud will affect the 2024 presidential elections.

Yet another TV police show features criminals using machine guns. In this instance, it is CBS’ Blue Bloods.

We have also continued collecting cases where people legally carrying guns in public have stopped crimes. Here are the cases that we collected for March

Again, we need your support to continue doing the work that we do. Your help is greatly appreciated.

We need help getting this message out. If you have friends you think might find our emails interesting, please encourage them to sign up by sending them the link here. Thank you very much.
