On Wednesday, August 13th at 4:00 PM, we’ll be cutting the ribbon for the new Chabad Jewish Center, the first synagogue in the history of Amelia Island.
It’ll be a meaningful and celebratory event, and we’d love to have the local news there to help share it with the wider community.
The ribbon will be cut promptly at 4:00 PM, followed by an indoor mezuzah placement (a mezuzah is a small scroll with biblical verses, traditionally placed on the doorpost of Jewish homes and institutions). Refreshments will be served.
