FERNANDINA BEACH, FL – October 27, 2025 – At approximately 02:33 AM
this morning the Fernandina Beach Fire Department (FBFD) and mutual aid
partner Nassau County Fire Rescue (NCFR) was dispatched to a residential
structure fire at 304 Division Street in Fernandina Beach. Fire crews arrived
to find the structure engulfed in heavy smoke and flame. FBFD personnel
immediately executed an aggressive interior search of the residence,
which was coordinated with an effective fire attack to bring the blaze
under control. Officials confirm that there were no victims found inside the
home and, critically, no injuries reported to either civilians or first
responders during the operation. The Fernandina Beach Fire Department
extends its sincere appreciation to Nassau County Fire Rescue for providing
valuable mutual aid assistance during the incident. The cause of the fire is
currently under investigation with the State Fire Marshal’s Office.
