Waste tires are not only unsightly, they are a health hazard for our community. If you have old tires that need to be disposed of, please bring them to the bi-annual Waste Tire Amnesty Day scheduled for Saturday, September 17, 2022. This event allows Nassau County residents to safely dispose of up to 15 car or truck tires at no-charge with proof of residency. All tires must be off the rim and free of debris. No commercial loads will be accepted.
