The Gerke Family would like to invite you to a Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser from 7:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. on April 29th at the Oyster Bay Pool House to benefit the Lighthouse Family Retreat!
Childhood cancer affects thousands of families across the U.S. and the need for these families to be cared for, seen, loved, and encouraged is great. That’s why we are supporting the Lighthouse Family Retreat’s mission to strengthen families living through childhood cancer.
The four of us will spend a week in July on a service trip as volunteers providing cooking, cleaning, childcare, and activities coordination. The goal of Lighthouse is to create a resort environment where families living through childhood cancer can get away to rest, restore relationships, experience joy, and find hope in God!
Families battling childhood cancer attend retreats absolutely free with your generous help. We will cover all of our own expenses to serve, and we have kick-started our fundraising goal with an additional $4,000 donation.
