National Alliance for Mental Illness (NAMI) volunteer and skilled facilitator Maureen Paschke presents Brene Brown’s “The Power of Vulnerability,” a short video, followed by a community discussion. This powerful piece is a key part of TED (Technology, Entertainment and Design) talks offered on various topics around the world.
Look for future NAMI-hosted TED Talks on mental well-being on May 9 and November 14, 2023

Maureen Kingsley Paschke has a special interest in social gerontology. Following a long career in commercial and public broadcasting, she has spent the past 11 years focused on community education. A native of Michigan, Maureen earned a B.S. in marketing, communications and gerontology at Eastern Michigan University. NAMI Nassau County FL offers resources and free support groups across the county for individuals and families with mental health challenges.
