About Congressman Aaron Bean

Congressman Aaron Bean proudly represents Florida’s Fourth Congressional District, which encompasses Clay, Duval, and Nassau Counties. The grandson of a coal miner, the son of teachers, Aaron grew up as the baby of nine children in a working-class family and is committed to restoring our nation’s prosperity and preserving the American Dream for millions of hardworking Floridians.

Aaron is currently serving his second term in Congress and is a member of the prestigious Committee on Ways and Means. He is also the founder and co-chair of the Delivering Outstanding Government Efficiency (DOGE) Caucus. This caucus is working to reduce government fraud, waste, and abuse.

Prior to serving in the United States House of Representatives, Aaron served as a community bank president and successfully built four small businesses from the ground up including the High Energy Auction Company.

While working to support his growing family, Aaron began his legislative service as a City Commissioner and later Mayor of his hometown of Fernandina Beach, Florida in 1996. After being elected to the Florida House of Representatives in 2000, Aaron was elected to the Florida Senate in 2012 and served as Senate President Pro Tempore and Chairman of the Appropriations Subcommittee on Health and Human Services overseeing over one-third of the Florida budget.

With the motto, serving you is what we do, taking care of constituents in Northeast Florida and helping them with federal casework is a top priority. Even more, Aaron is a champion of hardworking taxpayers fighting to rein in Washington’s spending addiction while holding firm to our conservative principles.

Under President Trump and House Republican leadership, Aaron believes our best days are still ahead. Through the America First Agenda, he and his colleagues are working to strengthen the economy, secure the nation, and protect our freedoms.

Born and raised in Northeast Florida, Aaron and his wife, Abby, are the proud parents of three sons and were blessed with the birth of their first granddaughter in 2024.
