Cross the Line Paddle Kick Off Fundraiser

Yes, it’s time!   The Cross the Line Foundation will hold our annual Paddle Kick Off Fundraiser on Sunday, February 18, 2024!   The event will be held at the Post 54, American Legion, 626 South 3rd Street, Fernandina Beach, FL.

Please plan to come out between 12:00 p.m.- 4:00 p.m. and enjoy delicious BBQ prepared by Smoke-n-Da Cockpit!

Registration for the 2024 Cross the Line Paddle will open at the Kick Off—
Be among the first paddlers to register by signing up in person at the Kick Off and ensure your place on the riverboat to St. Mary’s the morning of the paddle.

Tickets for the kick off  fundraiser will be available on Eventbrite – $15.00 adults and $10.00 children 12 years of age and under.

Cross the Line Paddle
June 22, 2024

The annual Cross the Line Paddle from St Mary’s, GA to Fernandina Beach, FL will be held on Saturday, June 22, 2024.

By joining us you will support a great cause and honor our veterans–all while enjoying a great day on the water!

Registration will open during the kick off fundraiser and will be available through Paddle Guru.
Registration fee for the 2024 Paddle: $65.00.

This is the 6th Annual Cross the Line Paddle, help us make it the best one yet.  We can’t do it without you!
If you don’t want to paddle consider joining our phenomenal crew of volunteers.


Please note:  If you are a veteran (or know of a veteran) who would like to paddle but may be unable to register due to financial constraints, please send an email to [email protected] — we may be able to assist.
Every year proceeds from the paddle are donated to an organization dedicated to assisting veterans.  The Cross the Line Foundation Board has selected Gratitude America as the recipient for the 2024 paddle.
Gratitude America is a non-profit organization whose mission is to serve veterans, first responders, and those who care for them, by delivering proven programs and experiences that transform their deepest struggles into their greatest strengths so they may live the lives they deserve.
Their programs include Retreats, Warrior PATHH, and Fallen.
CEO Michael Anthony will be joining us at the Paddle Kick Off event on February 18th.  There will  be a presentation about Gratitude America at approximately 1:00 p.m.
CROSS THE LINE FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

The Cross the Line Foundation offers four scholarships annually in the amount of $500.00 each.
Scholarships may be used to attend traditional college or for trade school.  To be eligible for this scholarship the applicant must be either:

  • A student planning to attend or currently attending college as a ROTC student
  • A child, sibling, grandchild, or spouse of a U.S. military member (current or retired)
  • A current or retired U.S. military member

Applications for the 2024 scholarships must be received by April 15, 2024.  Applications are available through all of the Nassau County High Schools and FSCJ in Jacksonville.

CTLF is proud of our scholarship program and would love to assist students in their college education.  If you qualify or know of anyone else who does, please share this information and submit an application.
