A tale of love, fairy magic, and community theatre. Midsummer centers around the fairy world causing mischief in the woods, lover’s vying for each others affections, and a group of actors rehearsing a play for the Duke of Athens wedding day.

A Midsummer Night’s Dream revolves around the intertwining love stories of four young Athenians and the magical mishaps that occur when they venture into a forest inhabited by fairies. Theseus, the Duke of Athens, is planning his wedding to Hippolyta, but the woods become a playground for fairy king Oberon and queen Titania, who are embroiled in their own marital dispute. A love potion, intended to resolve the fairy conflict, gets used on the wrong mortals, causing chaos in the human love square. Ultimately, through Puck’s intervention and Oberon’s wisdom, the lovers are reconciled, and the play concludes with a triple wedding and a theatrical performance by a group of amateur actors.
