Fossil Treasures of Fernandina
With Cheryl Wilson, Founder of Fernandina Fossils
Join us for a fascinating evening with Cheryl Wilson, founder of Fernandina Fossils, and her team of experts as they uncover the ancient treasures hiding right on our beaches. From shark’s teeth to fossilized scallop shells and marine mammals, many of these incredible specimens date back 5 to 23 million years!
Cheryl will showcase highlights from her collection and share expert tips on how, when, and where to find fossils on Amelia Island (but shh—keep it secret!). The evening will include a Q&A session and hands-on time with real fossils alongside the Fernandina Fossils team.
