Fernandina Beach, FLÂ During the FREE event, the artist will be painting a picture as he talks about the Highwaymen and will donate a picture to the Amelia Island Genealogical Society for auction!
R.L. Lewis is one of the quietly creative and versatile figures of a Florida Landscape Artist tradition that has become known as THE HIGHWAYMEN. He is also a retired Art Teacher of 32 years in the Brevard County School System.
This event, organized by the Amelia Island Genealogical Society, is part of the larger Bicentennial celebrations occurring throughout the year in Fernandina Beach, Florida.
