Ron DeSantis could use a do-over in his failed presidency bid, but not a makeover. He stuck to his devout conservative beliefs, even in defeat.
To the contrary, Democrat hopeful Kamala Harris is undergoing a full-body makeover, the most dramatic since Bruce Jenner. As part of her transformation, Harris is changing her long-held positions as often as Simone Biles in an Olympic dance routine.
They want you to forget everything you knew about the old Harris, a frequent punchline of left-wing jokes. The new Harris no longer wants to de-fund the police. She now supports fracking. And she was never tasked with resolving illegal immigration on the southern border. (These are all lies, by the way.)
She’s even beginning to sound like DeSantis, the Republican governor of Florida. But it’s all smoke-and-mirrors deception, as Harris tries to resurrect the Democrat presidential campaign after Joe Biden’s fallout.
DeSantis has a mouthful of criticism for the chameleon-like Harris. He has a unique perspective, after battling Donld Trump in a brutal Republican primary race. DeSantis suffered a beating from Trump that would make Chuck Wepner cringe – and he was the Bayonne Bleeder.
DeSantis describes the recasting of Harris as a “blizzard of lies.” While the mainstream media rebrands her controversial career in a public-relations coup.
“Down here in Florida, it’s hot in July, and it’ll be hot in August – but you’re going to see a blizzard of lies over the next few months,” DeSantis said when asked about Harris. “There’s not going to be any pushback from the entrenched corporate media, and they’re going to try to rewrite history. And try to present her as something she’s not.”
Harris has reversed her hard-left positions to deceive voters in important swing states, particularly in the rust belt. For instance, the old Harris endorsed a “Medicare-for-all” bill in unison with Bernie Sanders when both were crazy-liberal senators. This socialized medicine initiative would eliminate private plans and provide insurance to illegal aliens.
Also, Harris has supported re-directing money from policing, bailing out criminals, banning fracking as the green-energy zealot she is, while decriminalizing illegal immigration in her now-disputed role as “border czar.”
“The media worked hard to push Biden out,” DeSantis said. “And now you see all the arteries of the left – the corporate media, Hollywood, academia … using all the king’s horses and all the king’s men to try to put the Democratic Party back together again.
“And they have to whitewash Harris’ background to be able to make her palpable to the American people,” DeSantis continued, “but we’ve all seen her. She’s incredibly vapid, even more incredibly liberal, and she doesn’t have any accomplishments. In fact, she owns all the policies of the Biden-Harris administration. She owns the border, she owns the inflation.”
Trump’s campaign has hopped on Harris’ disastrous past like an equestrian jockey mounting a horse. Republican advertisements have rightfully labeled her as failed, weak and “dangerously liberal.”
Trump has placed the southern border calamities directly on Harris, as illegal crossings reach an all-time high. Harris never truly visited the border, as she ineffectively sought out the “root causes” of the massive influx of illegals from 100 countries. Illegal immigration and the economy/inflation remain the two top issues for voters – and Harris fails dismally in both categories.
“I think ultimately, truth is going to prevail,” DeSantis said. “But Biden set the bar so low – he couldn’t even deliver a sentence.
“Now you take somebody like Harris who’s not exactly lighting the world on fire,” DeSantis continued, “but Biden makes her look like Socrates just because we’re so used to him not even being able to do anything.”
