Press Release

From Mike Isbel, 8-25-23

Fall registration is now open for the CBS Monday Evening Co-Ed Class that starts with a kickoff dinner on Monday, September 11, 2023, at 6:00 pm at Amelia Baptist Church. CBS is non-denominational and is not affiliated with the Amelia Baptist or any other church. This year we will be studying both the Old and New Testaments. We begin with a brand-new study in Ephesians for 12 weeks, and then we finish with an 18-week study of Ruth, 1 & Samuel. Each class member receives a study guide with daily home study questions and a commentary. Each week you will gather at 7:00 pm into small Core Groups of 12-16 for discussion time, and then regather for a large group Summary Teaching of what you have read, studied, and discussed for the week. We finish promptly at 8:30 pm. There are Men’s Core Groups, Women’s Core Groups, and Couples’ Core Groups that meet in person. There are also Men’s and Women’s Zoom Core Groups to accommodate those who choose to study at home. You can register online by visiting ameliaislandevening.cbsclass.org or contact Sandy Malone, our Coordinator, at [email protected].
