PROJECTS/OPERATIONS:
Weekend lifeguard tower coverage has begun at North Beach Park, Main Beach Park, Jasmine/Access 9, Seaside Park, Peters Point, Scott Road, and Burney Park from 10:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
The replacement of windows within the Atlantic Recreation Center will begin on May 21 . All daily pool activities will move to the MLK Jr Recreation Center until June 1st.
Street resurfacing will occur within portions of Isle De Mai on May 27 and 28 . City personnel will be placing notices at the homes that will be impacted.
The driving range at the Fernandina Beach Municipal Golf Course is finally open! Please note that range balls will now be available for purchase in the Golf Shop, as we will no longer have staff stationed at the range.
A new restroom facility will be installed at Hickory St Park within the next couple of weeks. The Amelia Lighthouse Restoration continues on schedule. The project is scheduled to be
complete and the building reopened by the end of June.
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Jacksonville District Beach Renourishment dredging work is projected to start on Monday, May 12th.

Fabrication repairs are being made to the final two ramps of the Poe Pinson Skatepark at Main Beach.
