PROJECTS:
The Fernandina Beach Golf Club Driving Range is officially back in business!! Please join us for our Grand Re-opening on Saturday, May 10, from 11:00am-1:00pm for free range balls, food specials, and friendly competition.

City crews will be at North Beach Park on Monday finishing the final touches: landscaping, picnic tables, and handrails. This beach access will be open by the end of the week.

Paving downtown will continue through April 28th.

Contractors have mobilized at Main Beach (Dolphin St Parking Lot) for beach renourishment
dredging. This project will soon get underway and will last most of the summer. You can follow this project by monitoring www.fbfl.us/beachrenourishment.

The Amelia River Waterfront Park is moving along according to schedule. The construction of the restrooms and pavilion will begin soon. This project will be temporarily placed on hold until Shrimp Festival has passed.

We are in the busy season of yard debris. Remember to place piles at the edge of your yard, away from poles and powerlines to allow room for the grapple truck to collect.

City staff met with Shrimp Festival committee members in preparation of the big weekend ahead.

The west end of Alachua St. The road will be opened before Shrimp Festival.

We were honored to participate in the Law Enforcement Memorial ceremony held at the
Nassau County Sheriff’s office this week.
