Update on No Ethanol Fernandina:
We have our non-profit status in place, a bank account for making secure donations, a GoFundMe site, and an attorney retained to represent/fulfill our organizational/legal obligations.

Our attorney submitted his legal opinion to the City restating the prohibition by the City Comprehensive Plan for building an ethanol refinery/chemical plant within Fernandina Beach city jurisdiction. (Refer to the second page on our website.)

Note the potential dangers referenced on the third page of our website.

Our request for a formal administrative hearing to dispute the conditional air permit with the FDEP has been filed and awaits an answer.

What You Can Do to Help

Get the facts. Attend the public Town Hall May 30, the Peck Center 

Voice your opinion about RYAM’s planned bioethanol plant in the newspaper, online or at Fernandina Beach City Commission meetings 6:00 pm on the 1st & 3rd Tuesday of every month. 

Vote for the individuals who represent your values for the community.

Share the facts with friends, neighbors, the HOA, and social organizations.

Attend the fundraiser June 15 & donate toward the legal expenses. 

Distribute flyers, buy a bumper sticker, lapel button, or yard sign to display your support for No Ethanol Fernandina.
