After the success of his presentation at the Callahan Museum, longtime docent Chip Kirkpatrick is now bringing an astonishing story of Titanic survival to the Amelia Island Museum of History.
“In 1976, my wife and I were newlyweds and had purchased our first home in the Avondale area on the west side of Jacksonville. We learned the man who lived in a tiny bungalow behind us—and his sister, then ages 9 and 11—were Titanic survivors. He told us their harrowing, life-changing experience, and their story is extraordinary.”
