Ken Timmerman’s Threat Watchwww.kentimmerman.com 11-28-25

It’s a bit amusing to listen to the fake news media speculate that Trump is somehow “losing it” and in “cognitive decline.”

Here is a president who not only masters all the tools of our national government, but has deployed them to achieve his policy goals in ways no president in modern history has ever done.

But there is one thing that worries me about the Trump White House: the resurgence of leaks.

Remember: it was leaks at the White House by pro-Ukraine national security staffers that led to the first impeachment hoax against the president.

Is there a new cabal inside the White House once again trying to subvert this president?

We know that Trump has never ceased to anger — even terrify — the Deep State. And we know that the Deep State, by definition, is all over Washington, including the White House.

Once again, the transcript of a classified phone call involving Ukraine made its way to the media. Is there another Eric Ciamarelli lurking inside the National Security Council?

Ciamarelli was the Deep State CIA operative on the NSC staff in 2019, who allegedly leaked the Trump-Zelenskyy transcript that Democrats used to impeach Trump the first time.

This time it was the transcript of a call between US negotiator Steve Witkoff and Putin’s top foreign policy advisor, Yuri Ushakov, that made its way into the anti-Trump media.

The transcript, as it surfaced in Bloomberg, showed Witkoff “coaching” Ushakov on how Putin should talk to Trump, advising him to congratulate Trump for the success of the Hamas-Israel negotiation and then suggest they use that model to resolve the Russia-Ukraine war.

That sent the pro-Ukraine lobbyists spiraling into hysteria.

William B. Taylor, the former US Ambassador to Ukraine who became a key witness against the president in the impeachment hearings, said the transcript “shows how Witkoff sabotaged a meeting between President Trump and President Zelenskyy by suggesting Putin call Trump the day before the Zelenskyy meeting.”

He said pretty much the same thing about Trump at the impeachment hearings.

Taylor would have failed the test Secretary of State George Schulz famously put to prospective ambassadors, asking them to point to the country they represented on the globe. If they pointed to any other country than the United States, they were toast. Taylor would have pointed to Ukraine.

A second major leak appeared in the Wall Street Journal, this time of a phone call between President Trump and Japanese prime minister, Sanae Takaichi.

The new Japanese prime minister reportedly infuriated the Chinese communists on November 7, when she told parliament that a Chinese attack on Taiwan could trigger a Japanese military response.

In the call with President Trump on Tuesday, the president reportedly told her to “dial down the volume” to avoid further escalating tensions between Washington and Beijing.

Both of these leaks originated in the White House, most likely from NSC area experts who were sitting in on the calls, either directly or remotely (as was the case with Ciamarelli in 2019).

My bet is that Marco Rubio, who like Henry Kissinger before him, runs the NSC in addition to Foggy Bottom, is furious over the leaks and is actively seeking to find out who was responsible.

And he should be. Loose lips sink ships, or in this case, can sink the presidency.

I discuss the leaks, the status of the Russia-Ukraine negotiations, as well as the current state of play inside the Iranian leadership, on this week’s Prophecy Today Weekend.

As always, you can listen live at 1 PM on Saturday in the Jacksonville, Florida area on 104.9 FM or 550 AM or by using the Jacksonville Way Radio app. You can listen to the podcast later here.
