Thank you for your participation in the Nassau County School District’s statutory review process in accordance with Administrative Rule 8.33, Specific Material Objections (Instructional and Library/Media Materials).
The Statutory Compliance Team (SCT) convened on Thursday, November 20, 2025, to review the materials you submitted for reconsideration:

In making its determination, the SCT considered the full scope of training and information provided by the Florida Department of Education, including the Library Media Training and associated resources, as well as guidance issued by the State Board of Education.
If you wish to appeal the SCT’s decision, you may submit a written appeal to the Superintendent within ten (10) calendar days from the date of this email notification. Appeals may be submitted electronically to: [email protected]
Therefore, the appeal deadline is Thursday, December 4, 2025. If no appeal is received within this timeframe, the SCT’s recommendation will become final, and the reconsideration process will be concluded.
