Ken Timmerman’s Threat Watchwww.kentimmerman.com 11-21-25

It was a big week for US national interests, and another reminder of what a difference having a strong president makes.

On Wednesday, President Trump gave Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman (MBS) the red carpet treatment at the White House, first with a joint press conference, and later with a lavish all-but-state dinner.

The Saudi Crown Prince surprised by speaking English in public for the first time. We learned not only was he a fluent English speaker, but his rapid-fire delivery reminded me of another ADHD Arab leader, Crown Prince Hassan of Jordan, whose head was so full of data he couldn’t get the words out fast enough to lay it all out.

MBS pledged to invest $600 billion in the US — which he upped to $1 trillion during the presser with Trump – and came with an entourage of 1,000 people to handle the details. That’s serious.

And while he disappointed Trump by announcing that Saudi Arabia could not join the Abraham Accords until he saw a clear path to Palestinian statehood, the emphasis was on “path,” not statehood.

The Crown Prince also showed he could handle the US fake news media.

When an ABC News reporter asked him about the murder of Saudi columnist Jamal Kashoggi in October 2018, he didn’t shy away from answering, calling the murder a “mistake” and revealing that his government had investigated it and put in place new safeguards so it couldn’t happen again.

I discussed the absolutely scurrilous US “intelligence” report blaming MBS for the Kashoggi murder on Newsmax’s National Report on Thursday. You can access that video from my twitter feed @KenTimmerman.

On Thursday, the administration leaked the new 28-point Peace Plan for the Russia-Ukraine war, which the anti-Trump media promptly touted as heavily slanted toward Putin’s demands.

I beg to differ.

If you read through it, the Plan contains many strong measures that will not be to Putin’s liking.

Yes, the Plan reduces the size of Ukraine’s army — but to 600,000, down from 800,000 today, but way more than the 50,000-man rump security force Putin has demanded in the past.

Frozen Russian assets will not be returned but allocated to Ukraine’s reconstruction. European fighter jets will be stationed in Poland – way too close for Putin’s comfort. And Ukraine will be allowed to join the European Union.

Putin’s opposition to Ukraine joining the EU is what started the conflict in 2014! So that is definitely not a Putin win.

Okay, so Russia gets all of the Donbas, where fighting is currently underway, and gets to keep Crimea, which it annexed in 2014 after a referendum.

Sure, that is a big Putin win. But does Ukraine really want to continue fighting forever to retain territories where the people are ethnic Russians who hate them?

You can’t occupy hostile territories. Ask the Israelis about that. Or the US Army post 9/11, for that matter.

Ukrainian president Zelenskyy has been talking about a “dignified” peace, and made positive noises about the 28-point plan after the visit on Thursday ti Kyiv of US Army Secretary Dan Driscoll.

Driscoll apparently agreed to change one of the 28 points, which called for an audit of all international aid Ukraine had received, a real howler for the corrupt Ukrainian politicians and military leaders who have been skimming for years.

The Zman got it changed to say that all parties will receive “full amnesty for their actions during the war.”

We should know by Thanksgiving whether this bird will fly, but my guess is that it will. Kudos to all the hard work put in by Steve Witkoff, Marco Rubio, Jared Kushner and Lt. General Keith Kellogg for getting us to this point.

I discuss these subjects, as well as the difficulties in getting Arab soldiers to disarm Hamas and Turkish president Erdogan’s increasingly anti-Israel zealotry, in this week’s Prophecy Today Weekend.

As always, you can listen live at 1 PM on Saturday on 104.9 FM or 550 AM in the Jacksonville, Florida area, or listen to the podcast later here.

Yours in freedom,

Ken

PS: I was traveling last week after harvesting our olives in Provence and so did not send out a newsletter, in case you were wondering.

PPS: The Jewish Policy Center hosted me on a podcast on Thursday to address Tucker Carlson’s anti-Semitism, replacement theology, and the future of Christian Zionism in America. You can watch the whole event here. I will post the link shortly to my Twitter account along with a summary and time stamps.
