Black Friday Pajama Party & Tree Lighting in Historic Downtown Fernandina Beach, November 28, 2025
Fernandina Beach, FL – Slip into your coziest PJs and head downtown. Fernandina Beach is kicking off the holiday season with its beloved Black Friday Pajama Party & Tree Lighting in Historic Downtown! On Friday, November 28th, from 8 AM to 6 PM, the streets will come alive with festive cheer, unbeatable shopping, and all the small-town holiday magic we’re known for. Join the community for a full day of music, Santa Claus, Black Friday shopping deals, and memory-making as we welcome the season together.
Schedule of Events:
- 8:00 AM – Start your day with the Downtown Sidewalk Sale featuring amazing deals and unique finds from local vendors.
- Enjoy Mini Golf and Games on S 2nd Street.
- Have your face painted by our FBHS Art Students in the Pocket Park.
- 9:00 AM – Music begins with Hupp & Ray on the S 2nd St. Stage.
- 10:00 AM – Meet Santa Claus himself on S 2nd Street for photos and holiday cheer.
- Don’t miss the Bell Concert by Pam Bell at the Welcome Depot.
- 11:00 AM – Show off your best pajamas and compete in the Pajama Contest at the Welcome Depot.
- 12:00 PM – Enjoy more live entertainment with Shell Anders on the S 2nd St Stage.
- 2:00 PM – Kevan Wilson takes the S 2nd St Stage for an afternoon performance.
- 4:00 PM – The festivities continue at the Waterfront with the Nassau Community Band, and an assortment of family-friendly activities.
- Make s’mores with pirates, explore a real pirate ship, climb aboard a touch-a-truck experience, and capture more holiday memories with Boys Scouts and Santa.
- 6:00 PM – Conclude the evening with a magical Tree Lighting ceremony at the Waterfront.
This day of holiday festivities is the perfect opportunity to enjoy shopping, entertainment, and community spirit in downtown Fernandina Beach. Don’t forget to bring the whole family, there’s something for everyone to enjoy!
