While visiting the Utah Valley University campus September 10 and appearing before a crowd of 3,000 while sitting under his traditional banner that proclaimed, “Prove Me Wrong”, Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk was shot and killed by a cowardly madman.
The 31-year-old outspoken Christian conservative invited anyone attending his sessions to debate him, offering the most outspoken, angry, radical challengers a place at the front of the line.
That evening President Donald Trump opened a national address with a message of grief and fury, mourning the assassination of Kirk and praising him as a fearless patriot who championed free speech and American ideals.
Many politicians appeared publicly announcing their shock and grief at Kirk’s murder. Some were brought to tears describing their admiration and affection for the young man with a smile, who influenced thousands of students sans profanity and irate rants, presenting facts and logic in a soothing tone.
He was everything Democrats hate and fear—a charismatic, Christian Republican lecturing on left-leaning college campuses, converting students to conservative thinking.
Most of the rabid progressives appearing before him were left repeating empty hackneyed leftist phrases with their concluding arguments being stammering streams of “but, but, but.”
When he was shot he was debating a student about mass shooters and transgender ideology.
Following the shooting the left and Democrats outdid themselves with heartless, vile, irrational, and angry statements, with one lunatic anchor even being fired on the spot at MSNBC.
Anchor Matthew Dowd’s removal came just hours after MSNBC President Rebecca Kutler released a statement through the network’s public relations X account.
“During our breaking news coverage of the shooting of Charlie Kirk, Matthew Dowd made comments that were inappropriate, insensitive, and unacceptable. We apologize for his statements. There is no place for violence in America, political or otherwise,” Kutler wrote. However, the statement wasn’t read on the air.
While some were respectful; and reverent many leftists on social media bared their true character by pronouncing their hate for the deceased Christian married father of two small children.
How disrespectful and vile are Democrats? Thursday when Colorado Republican Rep. Lauren Boebert requested a spoken prayer for Kirk Democrat lawmakers shouted “no”. These are the same people that kneeled for a drug-addled George Floyd, said nothing about the fatal stabbing of a Ukrainian war refugee, and champion an illegal alien human trafficker, wife beater, and MS-13 gang member.
Their disrespect and hate knows no bounds. By registering as Democrats they are broadcasting their hatred, and advertising that they are people to avoid.
Illinois Governor J.B Pritzker blamed President Trump for the shooting saying: “We saw the shootings, the killings in Minnesota. We’ve seen other political violence occur in other states. And I would just say it’s got to stop. And I think there are people who are fomenting it in this country,” Pritzker said. “I think the president’s rhetoric often foments it.” Hey governor, whose fault are the weekly killings in Chicago that the President vows to stop?
The Daily Caller reported that University of Michigan assistant professor Charles H.F. Davis stated on Thursday that the assassination of Kirk is a “solution” to “violent rhetoric spewed by empowered people.” In addition to defending Kirk’s murder, Davis retweeted several posts that celebrated the assassination.
Gainesville-based Florida attorney and commentator Jeff Childers may have described the current mood of decent Americans Thursday writing: “After the bombing of Pearl Harbor, Japanese Admiral Isoroku Yamamoto is said to have warned, ‘I fear all we have done is to awaken a sleeping giant and fill him with a terrible resolve.’”
“Yamamoto’s quote perfectly captures how I feel this morning” wrote Childers. “I feel a sense of terrible resolve. It’s not yet clear what we must resolve to do, but it is clear we must resolve to do something. Talking isn’t working.”
Due to Charlie Kirk’s assassination this is an abbreviated column, as any other items would be irreverent.
