UGA RESILIENCE PLANNING FOR THE STATE OF GEORGIA
THE GEORGIA STATEWIDE RESILIENCE ASSESSMENT

University of Georgia has released the Georgia Statewide Resilience Assessment, conducted by the University of Georgia’s Institute for Resilient Infrastructure Systems (UGA IRIS) and commissioned by the Pew Charitable Trusts. This report brings together the knowledge and perspectives of local governments, utilities, emergency response agencies, regional commissions, agricultural producers, watershed councils, economic development authorities and other stakeholders from around the state to assess hazard risks, identify opportunities and make recommendations for building a more resilient Georgia.
