There are so many stories making up the mosaic of national/international news that we can’t cover them all every week. The biggest stories now seem to be: Israel and Iran, the Trump presidency (lawfare and judges), immigration (migrants and illegals), wars, weaponization of government (the deep state) against Trump and conservatives, our nation’s debt, massive inflation, climate change controversy and related expenses of government, industry attempting to address these issues, the Chinese threat, national security, abortion, taxpayer cuts, Ukraine peace, and hatred and violence against Christians. Here are just a few:

Robert Kennedy Jr. Fires Two Top HHS Officials After They Approved Moderna COVID Vaccine While He Was On Vacation
Robert F. Kennedy Jr. just made a stunning move inside the Department of Health and Human Services, terminating two top officials. Heather Flick Melanson, his Chief of Staff, and Hannah Anderson, Deputy Chief of Staff for Policy, are out. The terminations come after the FDA — under HHS leadership—officially granted full approval to Moderna’s controversial mRNA COVID-19 vaccine, Spikevax, for children as young as 6 months old through 11 years of age who are deemed “at increased risk” of COVID-19. A decision Kennedy neither authorized nor was even briefed on.
The vaccine was previously available to kids under Emergency Use Authorization (EUA), but the FDA has now handed over full approval, greenlighting the use of the experimental shot despite growing evidence of adverse events, including myocarditis, pericarditis, allergic reactions, and even seizures in young recipients. Dr. Robert Malone, now a member of the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP), said the FDA’s move to fully approve the Moderna shot blindsided RFK Jr. while he was on a working vacation.

Democrats Have Little To Say On Lost Children
It was all Rep. Clay Higgins (R-La.) could do to contain his anger during the July 16 hearing testimony describing how federal officials worked with 15 U.N. agencies and an estimated 230 non-governmental organizations (NGOs) during the Biden administration in spending $6 billion in federal grants to aid illegal immigrants.
Higgins’s anger was focused especially on Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) officials that have lost track of an estimated 300,000 Unaccompanied Migrant Children (UMCs) they turned over, with the help of the NGOs, to largely unvetted sponsors, many of whom experts say were linked to Mexican drug cartel sex and forced labor trafficking.
The key factor in HHS losing so many UMCs is federal officials relied too heavily on well-funded NGOs to provide supposedly screened sponsors to accept responsibility for the children while their cases went through the immigration system, according to Ali Hooper, president of Guiding Understanding, Awareness, Research and Defense Against Trafficking (GUARD), a non-profit investigative research group.

Massive Protests Erupt Against Zelensky In Ukraine
Massive protests broke out against President Volodymyr Zelensky on Tuesday in Ukraine. The protests took place one day before peace talks between Ukraine and Russia. The protests erupted outside the president’s office after Ukraine’s Parliament passed a bill that would strip the independence of the anti-corruption bureau. There were several protests elsewhere in the country.
It is not clear at this point if Western countries are behind the anti-Zelensky protests but Zelensky is wearing himself out with several Western leaders. The protests are being ignored by the Western press.

Trump Exits UNESCO After Body Campaigns For Global Online Censorship
The administration of President Donald Trump announced on Tuesday that it would withdraw from the United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (UNESCO). The State Department listed among its reasons for withdrawing from UNESCO on Tuesday its proclivity for helping “advance divisive social and cultural causes” as well as its strident anti-Israel stances, similar to those of many fellow U.N. bodies.
The U.N. agency took a major step towards expanding its control over global speech in February 2023 with the notorious “Internet for Trust” conference. In a promotional video, social media users using the internet without global legal restrictions were described as “insects thriving in the dark.”

Speaker Johnson: House Has Codified 50 Trump Executive Orders
The House of Representatives has so far voted to codify 50 of President Donald Trump’s executive actions, according to House Speaker Mike Johnson, R-La.
“The American people gave President Trump a clear mandate to enact his America First agenda — and House Republicans are answering that call. To date, we’ve voted to codify 50 of the President’s executive orders into law, from reining in waste, fraud, and abuse to cutting bureaucratic red tape that has strangled America’s innovators, job creators, and entrepreneurs,” Johnson said in a press release.
“The last four years under [former] President Joe Biden made painfully clear how quickly progress can be undone unless Congress steps in. That’s why House Republicans are working around the clock to codify President Trump’s executive actions and enshrine his historic agenda into law.”

Trump, Bondi Outmaneuver Corrupt Judges, Appoint Alina Habba As Acting US Attorney For New Jersey
Alina Habba on Thursday announced that she is now the Acting US Attorney for New Jersey after district court judges ousted her from her post earlier this week. Alina Habba’s term as interim US Attorney expires on Friday at 11:59 pm so Trump and Bondi outmaneuvered the activist judges. Habba resigned as Interim US Attorney and is now Acting US Attorney for New Jersey.
A group of federal judges on Tuesday declined to extend Alina Habba’s term as interim US Attorney of New Jersey after Democrat Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries launched a pressure campaign to oust her. Hakeem Jeffries called on federal district court judges appointed by Obama and Biden to remove Alina Habba over her decision to indict Rep. LaMonica McIver.
The judges appointed Desiree Leigh Grace – but AG Bondi immediately fired her on Tuesday. Alina Habba resigned as interim US Attorney before her term was set to expire – Trump then withdrew Habba’s nomination to a permanent position – Bondi then appointed Alina Habba First Assistant US Attorney which means she automatically becomes Acting US Attorney because of the vacancy.

Michigan Law Calls For ICE Officers To Be Jailed For Wearing Masks
Michigan has joined four other states who have introduced legislation to ban Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents from wearing masks, with the Wolverine state calling for jail time for violators. Democrats in California, New York, Massachusetts and Pennsylvania also have introduced similar bills as part of an attempt by those lawmakers to “increase transparency and limit the agency’s expanded powers” under President Donald Trump, Newsweek reported this week.
As Breitbart News reported, federal authorities say ICE officers have been wearing plain clothes and using masks during raids to hinder their identification they or their families won’t be targeted off the job by open boarder advocates. The Michigan bill not only bans ICE and Border Patrol from wearing “non-medical” face coverings, it requires officers to display their agency, their name and their badge number. Violators would be charged with a misdemeanor that carried a $1000 fine and up to 90 days in jail.

Democratic Party Posts Biden-Era Price Hikes In Widely-Mocked X Post Attacking Trump
A tweet from the official Democratic Party’s X account was ridiculed on Thursday after inadvertently showing prices skyrocketing under former President Joe Biden. The post attempted to describe rising grocery prices under “Trump’s America” using a graph dating from October 2019 to 2025. The graph claimed that “U.S. Grocery Prices Reached Record Highs in 2025” with prices “higher today than they were on July 2024” in categories such as dairy, produce and meat.
However, many X users pointed out that the graph, in fact, showed prices skyrocketing in 2021 when Biden was president and only leveling off at the end of 2024 when President Donald Trump was re-elected.
