The second annual Christian Heritage Parade and Festival happened on Saturday, 6-28-25 in Fernandina Beach. Held the week before our July 4 Independence Day, it focuses on America’s Christian heritage and connection to patriotism. Parade participants consisted of church-related groups, patriotic Christian businesses and individuals, even a certain political party and news publication. At least 25 vendors and organizations awaited parade participants and spectators afterward. No need to go hungry or unchurched there. The rain held off until well after the event, which some attributed to our Lord.

Spectators lined Centre and Ash Streets.

There were speeches and music afterward under the big tent at the festival. It was a pleasant, inspiring and low-key event, all in all. Pastor Zach Terry of First Baptist Church FB made an inspiring speech- “Take New Ground” about “The 7 Mountains of Influence” which was very worth hearing. You can READ IT HERE, too, as he was kind enough to provide his notes.
