Have you heard?! Even knee surgery couldn’t slow me down this week! Despite recovering from surgery, I made it a priority to get back to Washington—because nothing comes before keeping my promise to put you and Northeast Florida first.![]() CLICK HERE FOR A SPECIAL MESSAGE I am humbled and honored to serve as your voice in our nation’s capital. BIG ANNOUNCEMENT COMING – STRENGTHENING ACCOUNTABILITY IN FEDERAL SPENDING! ![]() This week, as chairs of the DOGE Caucus, Senator Joni Ernst and I announced a major new bill set to drop next week, one that will implement DOGE efforts and demand real accountability in federal expenditures. For far too long, improper and fraudulent payments have drained resources and undermined trust in government spending. As a taxpayer, you deserve transparency, and this legislation will ensure we’re delivering results—not recklessness. Stay tuned for the official rollout of this critical bill! CRACKING DOWN ON RETAIL CRIME To keep our citizens and communities safe, we must address the rampant crime crisis sweeping the nation. BREAKING DOWN THE OBBB: WHAT IT MEANS FOR YOU Last week, we broke down how the One Big Beautiful Bill (OBBB) is bringing relief for seniors, and now we’re diving into what it means for hourly and tipped workers—the backbone of our economy. Provisions in the OBBB, such as no tax on overtime and no tax on tips, will put more money annually in the pockets of millions of Americans. This includes up to $1,750 for overtime workers and $1,700 for tipped workers. This bill is about rewarding workers and delivering financial relief where it’s needed most. Stay tuned as we continue highlighting the game-changing benefits of this legislation. MEETING WITH UNF STUDENTS ![]() I had a fantastic time meeting with Professor Heymann’s University of North Florida students during their visit to Capitol Hill! We had a lively discussion about the major legislative efforts happening in Congress, including tax relief, responsible spending, and my work to eliminate waste, fraud, and abuse in government spending. It’s always inspiring to see the next generation engaged in the legislative process. If you or your school group are interested in visiting, please connect with our D.C. team at 202-225-0123. We would love to host you. FIGHTING FOR HOUSING AFFORDABILITY ![]() It was a pleasure meeting with Northeast Florida Realtors during their visit to Washington, D.C.! We had an important conversation about housing affordability and the growing concerns in Jacksonville over skyrocketing housing costs. It’s clear that hardworking families need real solutions to make the American Dream more accessible. It’s always wonderful to see Northeast Floridians up in D.C. advocating for what they believe in—working to make a real difference in our communities. REACTING TO THE WHITE HOUSE RESCISSIONS PACKAGE ![]() The White House’s $9.4 billion rescissions package is a step toward fiscal responsibility, but more work remains. As co-founder of the DOGE Caucus, I have been working with the White House to rescind this wasteful spending and use your tax dollars more wisely. Northeast Floridians, and all hardworking taxpayers, deserve nothing less. CASEWORK CORNER The Bean Team never stops working for Northeast Floridians!
