On February 16, 2025, Cross the Line Foundation will hold our annual Kick-Off event for the 2025 Paddle for Veterans. The Kick-Off will be held from 12:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. at the Post 54 American Legion in Fernandina Beach, Florida. Proceeds for this year’s paddle will go to Homes For Our Troops, a non-profit organization who builds and donates specially adapted custom homes nationwide for severely injured post 9/11 Veterans to enable them to rebuild their lives. Since 2004, they have built over 404 homes for Veterans with 67 projects underway and over 100 on a waiting list for a home. They are a platinum level Guidestar participant. A presentation about Homes For Our Troops will be given during the Kick-Off at 1:00 p.m. Food for the event will be provided by the team, Smoke-in-Da Cockpit. The Paddle Guru registration site will open on this day so you will also be able to register for the 2025 Paddle for Veterans which will be held June 21, 2025. Remember the first 100 to register are guaranteed a spot on the boat St. Mary’s.
Tickets for the event are $20.00 for adults and $10.00 for children. Look to purchase tickets for the Kick-Off on Eventbrite and our Facebook page. You will also be able to purchase tickets at the door.
