There are so many stories making up the mosaic of national/international news that we can’t cover them all every week. The biggest stories now seem to be: the Trump transition, immigration (migrants and illegals), wars, weaponization of government (the deep state), our nation going bankrupt, massive inflation, phony climate change controversy and related expenses of government/industry attempting to address these issues, the Chinese threat and now drones and national security as well as abortion and anti-Christian hate. So here are just a few:

Shooting At Abundant Life Christian School In Madison, Wisconsin Leaves Multiple Injured – UPDATE: Four Dead, Five Injured

UPDATE: At least four are dead, and five are injured. CNN reports, at least four people are dead, and another five are injured, after a shooting at a Madison, Wisconsin, school on Monday, according to police. The update came in during a news conference with police. Officials at the start of the press conference said two people were killed. The suspect in the school shooting is also dead and was a female, police said.
Madison Police Chief Shon Barnes gave the following update, indicating that “at least three people have lost their lives, including the juvenile person [shooter],” and seven were transported to hospitals in the area.
This is the second shooting at a Christian school this month. As The Gateway Pundit reported, two California boys were in critical condition after they were shot by a maniac at the Feather River School of Seventh-Day Adventists in Palermo, California less than two weeks ago.

Militant Pro-Abortion Radicals Flourish In Madison, Wisconsin

According to data compiled by the Family Research Council, there have been more than 100 attacks against pro-life groups nationwide since the beginning of May, many of which have been linked to Jane’s Revenge which has garnered support from networks of leftwing activists, particularly those tied to the Madison, Wisconsin area. Just two days before the first Molotov cocktail attack on Wisconsin Family Action on May 8, 2022, the Facebook page of a group called International Workers of the World (IWW) of Madison Wisconsin posted a history of the Jane Collective, the 1960s pro-abortion group from which Jane’s Revenge takes its name.
Last year, the IWW Madison shared posts promoting violent behavior, including:
A primer on how to fight “state oppression” by protesting and evading law enforcement.
A reminder to “always assume that law enforcement or other fascists and hostile actors could be within earshot. Avoid gossip, speculation, and joking about anyone’s alleged participation in any criminalized activity.”
An ominous photo warning that “Snitches Get Stitches.”
The attack on Wisconsin Family Action drew statements of support from other radical groups in Madison. A group calling themselves Unnamed Autonomous Collective published a statement lauding the attack and calling for more. Jane’s Revenge threatens violence against journalists, judges, law enforcement, and Christians.

Freedom Inc. organized abortion protests in Madison after the Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization ruling came down. The group has been prominent at social justice protests in the area. Freedom Inc. received a $50,000 Gates Foundation grant in 2021. Despite their connections to violent protest movements, Freedom Inc. receives federal and state funding, despite themselves calling to defund the police. Three Freedom, Inc. board members—Chong Moua, Lori Lopez, and Sami Schalk—have teaching positions at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. The Obama administration named Freedom Inc. co-executive director Kabzuag Vaj a “Champion of Change.”

Another such group is OutReach LGBTQ+ Community Center, which is located adjacent to Wisconsin Family Action (WFA), the site of the first Jane’s Revenge attack. OutReach receives funding from local businesses and city, county, and state governments. OutReach has ties to Freedom Inc., which has been involved in organizing protests against the Dobbs decision in the Madison area. In 2016, OutReach gave Freedom Inc. their “Courage” award.

Trump: Japan Tech Giant SoftBank’s $1B Investment In U.S. To Create 100K Jobs

President-elect Donald Trump announced Monday that a Japanese tech conglomerate will make a multi-billion dollar investment in the United States and said it will create scores of new jobs in artificial intelligence technology.
“Today, I am thrilled to announce that SoftBank will be investing $100 billion in America, creating 100,000 American jobs at a minimum,” Trump read from a statement at his Florida estate alongside SoftBank CEO Masayoshi Son.
The investment will extend over the next four years, according to information released on Monday. During his extended remarks about the SoftBank investment, Trump also pledged to make tax cuts beyond his 2017 round and that any company investing more than $1 billion will be eligible for fully expedited permit approvals, including environmental approvals.
Trump, 78, said the most recent investment announced on Monday “will help insure that artificial intelligence, emerging technologies and other industries of tomorrow are built, created right here” in the United States. Ukraine Assassinates Russian Nuclear, Chemical And Biological Defense Chief, General Kirillov, In Moscow Bomb Blast In Major Escalation

The Kiev regime once again resorts to ‘asymmetrical tactics’ (a.k.a. terrorism) and assassinates a top Russian General, in a move that is sure to generate a considerable escalation and also certain retaliation by the Russians against top Ukrainian officials.
On today’s early morning (17), an improvised explosive device (IED) was detonated on Moscow’s Ryazansky Prospekt. The massive, deadly blast killed high profile Russian chemical defense chief General Igor Kirillov. The IED was planted on an electric scooter positioned at the entrance of a residential building in southeast Moscow.”
As one would expect, the Russians are vowing swift and terrible revenge over the assassination.

Biden Paid Media Millions To Attack Elon Musk’s Companies

According to Mike Benz, Executive Director of Foundation for Freedom Online, it was discovered that the Biden Administration paid Reuters over $300 million to investigate and attack Elon Musk’s businesses, likely as a way to damage his reputation and make him less of a threat to the Democrat Party. Benz posted the relevant details in a post on X. As Benz points out, Reuters even won a Pulitzer for its investigations into Musk’s companies.
The implications here are damning, not just for the Democrats, but for the media as well. Moreover, it’s only more fuel for the fire that will be the Department of Government Efficiency, which is headed, in part, by Musk himself.
But here we see the government actually paying corporate media millions of dollars to attack its enemies as well. This isn’t just ideological alignment resulting in friendly reporting. This is a President paying a media company that touts to be an unbiased source of news to go after one of his political enemies. This discovery is going to be another nail in the coffin for the already dying reputation of the corporate media.

Trump Has Officially Won The Electoral College Vote

It may seem somewhat anti-climactic, given that the outcome of the presidential race was clear in the wee hours of November 6, but Tuesday was the day the Electoral College formally met and cast their votes for the president and vice president, pursuant to 3 U.S. Code § 7.
The certified slates of electors for each state and the District of Columbia met in their respective states, beginning with Maryland and continuing through to Hawaii. And while it was Pennsylvania that made Trump’s victory a certainty on Election Night (despite the fact that it took a while longer for some states to get their final tallies sorted — looking at California and Arizona), it was Texas that won the day for Trump on Tuesday.

Musk Warns Congress Voting Yes On Continuing Resolution

(editor’s note- the House passed the third, vastly slimmed down version of the bill)

President-elect Donald Trump’s DOGE adviser Elon Musk is leading a chorus of opposition Wednesday against the continuing resolution (CR) put forth under House Speaker Mike Johnson, R-La. “This bill should not pass,” Musk wrote on X in a series of tweets
“Any member of the House or Senate who votes for this outrageous spending bill deserves to be voted out in 2 years!” the billionaire who helped back Trump’s return to the White House also posted to X.
Amid a report the CR contains language that would block Trump’s Justice Department from investigating Congress, Musk was even more incredulous. “This is insane and has nothing to do with a ‘continuing resolution’!” Musk wrote. Additionally, Congress is attempting to give itself a hefty pay raise — from $174,000 to $243,000. “How can this be called a ‘continuing resolution’ if it includes a 40% pay increase for Congress?” Musk wrote.
“This crazy bill needs to stop now,” Musk wrote. “This bill is terrible,” he added. “This bill is criminal,” he wrote.

Donald Trump Begins To Move Against Mike Johnson

President-elect Donald Trump appears to have deteriorating confidence in House Speaker Mike Johnson to lead the Republican conference in the next cycle. Trump holds a large sway among House Republicans, who could push Johnson out of the Speakership if Trump gives the signal.
Trump has not yet abandoned Johnson, although he began on Thursday to move against him by not committing to Johnson remaining Speaker. “We’ll see,” Trump told NBC News’s Garrett Haake about his confidence in Johnson. “What they had yesterday was unacceptable. … In many ways it was unacceptable. It’s a Democrat trap,” Trump added about the spending measure packed full of pork.
Trump provided a path for Johnson to save his job. The roadmap appears to set a series of reasonable demands regarding the spending package. Achieving Trump’s requests, however, might be difficult in the context of a potential government shutdown before Christmas, thus essentially torpedoing Johnson’s position.

Trump Calls For Primary Challenge Against Republican Congressman Amid Spending Bill

President-elect Donald Trump is calling for a primary challenge against Rep. Chip Roy, R-Texas, for “getting in the way” of increasing the debt limit, which the near four-term incumbent strongly opposes.

He further argued that Republican obstructionists “have to be done away with,” and that “Democrats are using them.”
“Our Country is far better off closing up for a period of time than it is agreeing to the things the Democrats want to force upon us,” he wrote. “Biden is President, and it’s his obligation to properly lead. We’re there to do the right thing, and we can’t agree with what Biden and the Democrats are demanding.”
He concluded, “We had an overwhelming Victory just four weeks ago, and we’re not going to let the Democrats forget it so quickly.”

‘Missing’ GOP Congresswoman Not Seen For Six Months Finally Found Living At Dementia Care Home

A Republican Congresswoman who has been “missing” for the past six months has finally been found. Rep. Kay Granger, 81, has served as the representative for Texas’s 12th Congressional District since 1997. However, she suddenly disappeared from the public eye around July this year, when she cast her final vote against an amendment to reduce the salary of Deputy Assistant Administrator for Pesticide Programs to $1.
t remains unclear why Granger’s relatives or staff declined to disclose her condition to the public. Granger had already announced her retirement at the end of this Congress. From January, the seat will be held by Craig Goldman, a Republican who was formerly a member of the Texas House of Representatives.

California Business Owners Blindsided By Surprise Payroll Taxes After Newsom, Democrat Legislators Failed To Repay Federal Government Loan On Time

California business owners were blindsided by surprise payroll taxes after Governor Gavin Newsom (D) and Democrat legislators failed to repay a $20 billion federal loan. The state’s Democrats failed to budget properly and repay a $20 billion federal Covid loan back on time so the costs got passed down to unsuspecting business owners who are already taxed to death.
This is after Newsom forced small businesses to close down (many went bankrupt) during the Covid pandemic. Businesses were hit with an extra $21 per employee in payroll taxes because California’s Democrats didn’t pay the federal loan back.
In 2026, the amount will increase to $42 per employee, in 2027 it will increase to $63 and it will continue to increase an extra $21 per employee until the loan is paid in full.
