(Editor’s Note: The Paris 2024 Olympics Opening Ceremonies will not be remembered for a celebration of athletes but for a “political” statement made by organizers mocking Christianity. Religious leaders, particularly Catholic bishops protested as well as political leaders, including former President Donald J. Trump. Many decided to boycott watching the Olympics and at least one advertiser pulled advertising. It remains to be seen, if the organizers actions will impact viewership or advertising dollars. It also remains to be seen, if another “political” moment will be observed at the Olympics Closing Ceremonies Sunday, Aug. 11. A Ventura County, California activist was so sickened by what she saw that she began an email campaign—urging others to join—in protest. In The Seine: Thousands Of Olympians Enter The Heart Of Paris In Massive Flotilla
Once upon a time, a large flotilla of foreigners sailed down the Seine and laid siege to Paris, directly threatening the Carolingian Dynasty. However, President Macron and his fellow Parisians need not be concerned about this particular group of nautical travelers; they were invited and are only there to play games.
On Friday, amid rains and rumors of flooding, thousands of the world’s best athletes made perhaps the greatest entrance in Olympic history as they sailed down as part of the Olympic opening ceremonies. Flanked by cheering crowds and fans of all nationalities, the star-studded parade made its way through the heart of the “City of Love” in what was the first time in Olympic history that the opening ceremonies did not take place in a stadium.
The thought process behind the innovative move was to give the everyday fans a chance to witness the iconic ceremony in person instead of being one of the relative few with the clout and the cash to gain entry into an arena.
The festivities got underway with a literal explosion of color in tribute to the colors of France before the boats containing the athletes completed their 3.5-mile trek from the Pont d’Austerlitz and ending at the Trocadéro.

Insane Wokeness Overtakes The Olympics, ‘Drag Queens’ Mock Christianity In Astonishing Display
If you tuned into the 2024 Olympics, you got a parade of drag queens mocking the Last Supper. No, I’m not kidding. That was the scene on Friday as France held the opening ceremony for the summer games. In one instance, a bearded man in a low-cut woman’s outfit twerked and crawled around the stage in the rain.

House Speaker Mike Johnson Disgusted At ‘Shocking And Insulting’ Olympics Opener
Wokeness and culture wars have continued to infect sports in the years since, as evidenced by Friday night’s offensive clunker of an Olympics opening ceremony where some performers appeared to be starting a threesome while others seemed to mock Leonardo da Vinci’s “The Last Supper.” (The organizers deny this.). The opening ceremonies in Paris included a group of performers, some of them in drag, in a scene that appeared to resemble the da Vinci painting of “The Last Supper.” The painting depicts the final meal of Jesus with his apostles, night before the crucifixion. House Speaker Mike Johnson wasn’t the only one who thought it crossed the line. Twitter owner Elon Musk responded to another user’s post: “This was extremely disrespectful to Christians.”
Meanwhile, many social media users are seeing the videos they’ve used in their posts disabled, reportedly because the Olympics are claiming copyright infringement. Or possibly it’s because they don’t want you to remember what they did?
Here’s Kansas City Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker, whose video is no longer viewable, as you can see: “Be not deceived, God is not mocked. For what things a man shall sow, those also shall he reap. For he that soweth in his flesh, of the flesh also shall reap corruption. But he that soweth in the spirit, of the spirit shall reap life everlasting.” Galatians 6:7-8.

Paris Olympics Organizers Apologize For Opening Ceremony Fiasco
The Paris Olympics opening night ceremony was at various times lewd, insulting, and downright boring. The show caused widespread outrage, with much of it directed at a group of performers mocking Leonardo da Vinci’s iconic “The Last Supper” painting.
Organizers laughably claimed that it was “clearly” not meant to offend anyone, although, to many viewers, it was “clearly” intended to do just that. Reaction to the ceremony came from around the globe: Da Vinci’s painting depicts the moment when Jesus Christ declared that an apostle would betray him. The scene during Friday’s ceremony featured DJ and producer Barbara Butch — an LGBTQ+ icon — flanked by drag artists and dancers.
Religious conservatives from around the world decried the segment, with the French Catholic Church’s conference of bishops deploring “scenes of derision” that they said made a mockery of Christianity. The organizers of the event are not sorry, and their claims that they didn’t want to offend ring hollow. They did exactly what they intended, which was to shove their divisive message down the throats of millions of viewers who wanted to see spectacle, not political posturing. Although viewership was predicted to be low for these games, the opening ceremony drew in an estimated 28.6 million sets of eyeballs, which is the most since 2012. The question is: Will some of them now turn away?

“It Was Spectacular!” – Jill Biden Gushes Over Sick Anti-Christian Olympic Ceremony in Vile Speech
Fox News obtained a video Sunday of self-proclaimed Christian Jill Biden slobbering over how incredible the anti-Christian display was while wondering how Los Angeles, which is hosting the Olympics in 2028, will top this. As the outlet notes, she was leading the U.S. delegation to the Olympics on taxpayer dime instead of caring for her ailing husband, Joe.

Trump: Olympic Opening Ceremony ‘Was A Disgrace’
During an interview that aired on Monday’s broadcast of Fox News Channel’s “The Ingraham Angle,” former President Donald Trump reacted to the Last Supper display during Friday night’s opening ceremony for the Paris Olympic Games.
Trump, the Republican presidential nominee, called the display a “disgrace.” I thought the opening ceremony was a disgrace, actually,” he said. “I thought it was a disgrace. I thought it was terrible,” Trump responded.
“We won’t be having a Last Supper as portrayed the way they portrayed it the other night,” he told Fox News host Laura Ingraham. “I mean, they can do certain things. I thought it was terrible … Look, I’m for everybody. I’m very open-minded. but I think what they did was a disgrace.”
