Saturday June 29, 2024, is the First Annual Christian Heritage of America Parade! We will assemble at Central Park at 9 am, and the Parade begins at 10 am. We will parade down Ash Street to Second Street, and then come back up Centre Street to the Park. After the Parade we will have a Christian Faith Festival in Central Park with patriotic and Christian music, speeches about the Christian Heritage of America, food trucks, ice cream trucks, and free face painting, pop corn, sno cones and games for all the kids. We will also have a Prayer Tent, and believe that many people will be healed, saved and delivered at this event.
We now have 94 people registered for the parade, 20 sponsors, 13 floats, 29 cars, 20 trucks, 45 groups, and well over 100 marchers. Many churches, schools and Christian businesses will be represented.
We have a lot of parades in Nassau County. We have a Shrimp parade, and MLK parade and many other parades. But we believe it is time to have a parade to honor America and our great Christian heritage!
The Apostle Paul once said: “I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes.” (Romans 1:16) And Jesus said: “If you will confess me before men, I will confess you before my Father in Heaven.” (Matthew 10:32). On Saturday, we will lift up the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, and His Gospel of Salvation, on Centre Street, Amelia Island! Please join us!
