Celebrate the Opening of the Beaches alongside the 15th Annual Wild Amelia Nature Festival. The Nassau Board of County Commissioners invites you to join us on May 18th, 2024 from 10 am to 4 pm at Main Beach Park (32 N Fletcher Ave) in Fernandina Beach.
This FREE event features something for everyone: exhibits from the Wild Amelia Nature Festival, Isle of 8K Beach Run, Kids Zone; Touch-a-Truck; Skateboard Competition; Food Trucks; Beer Garden; and a Vision 2050 Tent, where you can help us define the future of our community. Don’t forget to share your thoughts on the draft Community Building Blocks.
The celebration will feature live music by the headliner, The Honey Badgers, and special guests, Laid Back and The Liberty Blues Band. The stage is brought to you by The Amelia. Big thanks to our event partners, the City of Fernandina Beach and Amelia Island Convention & Visitors Bureau, for helping host this family-friendly event! Don’t miss this exciting kick-off to summer!
Free in the morning? Register for the Isle of 8K Beach Run at 8 am at Peter’s Point on May 18th!
