President Biden is at it again. On Wednesday, his administration announced it would be cancelling ANOTHER $1.2 BILLION in student loan debt for 150,000 borrowers.
This means the White House has wiped a grand total of $138 BILLION in loans for 3.9 million Americans despite the U.S. Supreme Court’s ruling that the president does not have authorization to cancel student loan debt.
While President Biden’s plan may sound like a Houdini-type escape from the responsibility of student loan debt, in reality, 83% of Americans without student loan debt will end up paying for the other 17% who do. It is unfair to taxpayers, unfair to Americans, and unfair to future students. As your Congressman, I will continue to work hard to hold this administration accountable.

This week, I was proud to join Senator Marco Rubio in urging President Biden to delete his campaign’s TikTok account and acknowledge that the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) created app is a threat to our national security. Harvard’s refusal to comply with the Committee’s probe into antisemitism on their campus is unacceptable and will not be tolerated.
