Capital Improvement Plan Update
At the Wednesday, December 20th meeting, Deputy County Manager/County Engineer Robert Companion provided an update on Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) Projects. The County’s CIP is updated annually during the budget process and provides a proactive approach in planning for infrastructure needs such as roadways, facilities and parks. Not only does it identify projects and funding sources, it also provides a projected schedule.
Community Meeting for Nassau Lakes Residents
The County is planning a crossdrain replacement at Parliament Drive, just west of the intersection with Old Nassauville Road, which will require a road closure for approximately 3 business days (exact dates to be announced). As a result, motorists will not be able to access the area from this intersection. The currently closed access point on Parliament Drive and Arrigo Boulevard at the Beaches at Nassau Lakes Community will be opened temporarily to allow access to the Nassau Lakes Community.
Nassau County Public Works will host a community meeting on Wednesday, January 10, 2024, at 5:00 p.m. to discuss this project with the community and answer any questions you may have. The meeting will take place in the Commission Chambers located within the James S. Page Government Complex located at 96135 Nassau Place, Yulee, FL 32097.
