Opinion

By Jerry Novack, 12-10-23

Editor’s note: This is in reference to the new FB City Manager’s recent alleged unarrested DUI and revelations of deeper issues. This will be discussed and possibly resolved at the 12-19-23 Commission meeting at City Hall.

Mr Ross-

You have violated your contract terms by not being available ( coherent ) 24/7.

Additionally you attempted to cover this up by failing to immediately inform the commissioners of your breach of contract and gross negligence

Additionally your public statements of ( paraphrasing ) you’re sorry this came to light and you were lonely just speaks to your failure to take ownership of your own voluntary actions and furthermore speaks to your lack of judgement, lack of common sense and most importantly a total lack of a semblance of integrity. You can never be trusted.

Everyone deserves second chances- so go back to Tennessee and get the help you need and you’re wished the best.

Commissioners – not only is action needed on the Ross matter but you  must conduct via a non city based investigative firm an investigation to determine who at the FBPD ordered this cover up. Your constituents must have faith in their public servants and they never will unless those who ordered and condoned this cover up are removed from the public sector; who appointed the Chief as the minister of culture and compassion – what about compassion for the citizens of FB who deserve much more than this violation being swept under the rug

As is often the case in business when one settles vs hiring outstanding candidates the likelihood of success graphs down dramatically
