I had a thought, feel free to delete. Tobey and I have returned from the Florida family circuit. The most fun – was the experience of all of them together and individually (differences and similarities, smiles and laughs).
The circuit was 95 south then Alligator Alley to the west coast then north thru Ocala and back to Amelia. Over 900 miles. The landscapes as diverse as the personalities, leaving the congestion of south east to cross Alligator Alley was inspiring. Long vistas of flat saw grasses and low lying fog, the distant clump of trees and the far horizon, gives you the impression we are a very inconsequential addition to the scene.
The west coast, not as crowded as the east, some evidence of the storm’s fury still – but the construction is well underway and the vast majority of Naples remains pristine and well attended.
Then the last leg through rolling hills, pastures and farms and home to paradise, we are truly blessed. The many communities we passed -bustling people and businesses are in motion and there is so much evidence of man’s ingenuity and industry and how that has bettered our lives.
The wilderness of the swamp, the serenity of the farms and pastures and the absolute magical beauty of nature over the trip is inspirational, complemented by the expansion of humanity that we have nurtured. Amazing.
So, the news brings reports from Davos, 1040 private jet landings at the airports in near proximity delivering the brightest of our species for a confab on economic, climate, social and population complexities. Then the helicopter/SUV to town. Reported there are 2700ish attending. The pecking order must be a hoot to witness. Imagine the confidence on display, the elevation of station projection. I have seen the competitive preening of Palm Beach in high season and it is very entertaining to say the least.
One of the reporters held a straight face as the story of Brian Seltzer pointed up the evils of misinformation to the attendees……….. really Brian? Are you serious? Are we to believe you confirmed the veracity of all you spoke at CNN before they separated with you?
The same CNN where a reporter stood in front of a raging fire among violent looters in Portland and spoke of mostly peaceful protesters. The same CNN where a reporter brother of a Governor gave advice on debunking the victims of his passions.
We are witnessing a time when Antifa ( anti-Fascist) will beat you to a bloody froth if you disagree with them……….. definition of fascism? Oh yea.
Then – the interviews- sidewalk Davos- a reporter posing a query “is the juice worth the squeeze?” Can the meetings here offset the excessive tons of carbon expelled in the transport of so many exceedingly brilliant thinkers to this exceptionally hard to access town? Answers from many 20-30ish very well dressed, well spoken, highly informed -almost as if practiced – “Yes.” The Regiment marches to the cadence- any derision is suppressed with herd mentality of going along.
To stand and challenge the “science is settled intelligencia”…….. better pack a lunch.

This is the mantle of woke. We are turning a societal blind eye to the snarky, loud mouthed victim who is preaching untruths packaged as Social Justice. The truth isn’t the goal, conflicting opinions are misinformation. Well I think the woke crew is few in numbers, they depend on people to ignore logic and embrace division.
This country is not that different from the age of JFK, a charismatic leader who inspired our people to become the next generation of Americans who achieved and prospered. There is a leader who will step forward and inspire our youths to get up and get fit. Inspire our young adults to achieve the dreams that are right in front of you. You can be anything you want to if you want it bad enough. This is the moment- opportunity is right in front of you – go and grab it.
In this time, more than any other -success is available to every American- it is your decision – be a victim or be a producer. Make your move!
It will really irritate the woke.
