There is, in my mind anyway, a simple explanation for Trump’s continued support and popularity among Conservative Christian voters. Granted, he may not be viewed as the most Christ-like (a perfect God-Man physical representation of God), but who among us is? This seems to be constant talking point of his detractors who can’t seem to grasp why Christians would support a showy, politically incorrect, former TV personality, whose private life reads like one big tabloid story!
For me, I can’t believe the Left has the gall to even criticize Trump about anything, given the real criminal activity perpetuated by many in their party. Plus, I guess because they are not familiar with the Bible, God’s word, because they fail to recognize how God has always chosen the most unlikely people to do great things! Paul, the Apostle, is one of my favorites. He was Saul, a persecutor of Christians and very evil man before Jesus came into his life and chose him. Paul became one of the most important and influential Apostles of Christ, spreading the Gospel throughout the world! Nothing is impossible with God! So Christians everywhere understand we are all flawed, sinful humans and do not base our judgement solely on character flaws- we are all guilty of sin. I look at policies, actions and promises kept when I consider choosing important leaders.
The other big reason for Trump’s popularity is that we can all see the decline in our country, which I believe is largely due to the majority of our country turning away and rejecting God. Our country was founded on religious freedom and Judeo-Christian values, and therefore, has been abundantly blessed by God. Our forefathers recognized the importance of reverence for God and the necessity of biblical values to support a lawful, common-good, and respectful society.
Trump was the most supportive President for Christian and family values since Reagan, not to mention the most pro-life. Because of Trump’s three conservative Supreme Court justice’s appointments, Roe vs. Wade was overturned and returned to individual States where it belonged, a huge win for Pro-Life Christians.
But the biggest reason is my belief that Trump may be the only person standing between us and Socialism/Marxism taking over our country. He is right when he says, “They may be coming after me, but they are really coming after you- American conservatives- I’m just standing in their way.” The Democrats have weaponized our own government against Americans- Mainstream Media propaganda, Election corruption and interference, COVID mandates & shut-downs, restricting free speech by colluding with Big Tech to shut down opposing views, severe penalties for participants in January 6 protests while ignoring crimes committed during George Floyd riots, allowing our country to be invaded across the open border, SWAT teams arresting pro-life protestors, lying to Americans about just about everything, selling out America to our enemies through corruption and bribes, and the most concerning- persecuting their political opponents with bogus indictments! Not to mention their failed policies on crime, inflation and the economy, pushing the Green agendas with the war on fossil fuels (which are necessary for our survival), damaging radical gender identity and abortion policies, and false climate crisis fear-mongering.
Is it any wonder Biden’s approval ratings are in the toilet? Ironically, the sheer number of illegals risking their lives to come to America proves what a great country we are. Americans are fed up with these crazy, radical policies that just don’t work, and the constant demonization of America, our country that we love.
Trump also pulled back the curtain on just how corrupt and deep-state run our government has become. Also, how corrupt and power hungry the career, elitist, politicians are. My belief is that’s the REAL REASON THE LEFT HATES HIM….his interference with their Socialist agendas and his non-politician policies based on doing what’s right for the country, not a particular political party. I believe, that’s why they are behaving like authoritarian dictators- that’s the only way they can put their policies in place. Otherwise, the freedom-loving American people would never go along with their Marxist ideology!
The Russia, Russia, Russia hoax was the worst political hit job maybe in our history, yet no one has been held responsible for the chaos and division that caused for years. Trump was thwarted at every turn during his Presidency by unelected traitors and deep-stater minions doing the Left’s dirty work, who had no problem disputing the election results and overturning the will of the American people. Many prominent Democrats have questioned and denied election results over and over- when will they be indicted? Why was the border so secure and illegal immigration controlled under Trump without Congress passing immigration laws, (which is their false go-to reason for the border crisis), while the media will not question the Biden administration about the ongoing invasion of illegals under their policies? Bidenomics, (aka Inflation, high interest rates, and high gas prices) is a failure and a joke, and just goes to show how out of touch Biden is with everyday Americans .
Now I know most far-left Democrats will not admit these failures or change their minds about Trump or his supporters… all I can ask and hope for is that they may search their hearts and conscience, be honest about the failures, and vote accordingly to preserve our American democracy, ideals and freedoms. I try to be a “happy warrior” while fighting the good fight. Godlessness, self-hatred, and extreme cynicism make for much unhappiness, depression, and living with fear and anxiety. This is ultimately not about supporting a particular political party, it’s about saving our country from certain destruction by these misguided radical ideologues, whom I pray for daily. Believe me, God’s wrath will be poured out upon us; and sooner than later. Scripture says : “And since they did not see fit to acknowledge God, God gave them up to debased minds to do what ought not to be done. They were filled with all manner of unrighteousness, evil, covetousness, and malice. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, and maliciousness. They are gossips, slanderers, haters of God, insolent, haughty, boastful, inventors of evil, disobedient to parents, foolish, faithless, heartless, and ruthless. Though they know God’s righteous decree that those who practice such things deserve to die, they not only do them, but give approval to those who practice them.” Romans 1:26-32. MAY GOD CONTINUE TO FORGIVE US ALL, GUIDE US, AND BLESS AMERICA! AMEN!
