Faith/Opinion

How is it we Humans BeComing can be on ‘Cloud Nine’ one minute and before the eye can blink twice, with no warning whatsoever, everything’s changed? What just happened? It’s got to be a figment of our imagination we tell ourselves. A subjective narrative then begins running a script of questions and rational explanations as to the why of it all. We rack our brains for some semblance of coherent reasoning behind the sudden shift that’s just occurred.
Life appeared to be good. No outstanding occurrence beamed warning lights to pay attention and change course. Wait. Hmmm? There was that tiny little nudging sensation where intuition created an uneasy feeling in the very core of our Be-ing to cause us pause. But we dismissed it and carried on like nothing ever happened. Then out of the wild blue yonder? Wham!
Life shifts out of first gear! We lose our balance and grasp at anything familiar to regain some stability. It’s only when we realize we have no control whatsoever on the situation that we throw up our hands and walk outside, look up to the blue sky and have a little talk with God.
And then…when we least expect it, God sends a sign of hope. I see these signs everywhere. Some appear in the clouds. Some show up while I’m walking on the beach. And others cross my path as Earth angels. That’s what I call people who arrive on the scene to offer a helping hand in the nick of time. I pray I’ve been an Earth angel to some as well along my journey to BeComing.
Miracles and blessings surround our daily lives. We must remember to keep our hearts open to receive and accept them as gifts from God. And yes, look for them!!!!
“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” Romans 15:13(NIV)
